The fact that Johnson is only a point behind Zsombor-Murray, especially given the difficulty level, is a joke.

Yup, Canadians underscored, Mexicans given a break. I know I'm biased, but I've thought the judging has been good with some minor exceptions until this final.

After seeing Garcia's dive, which was the same, idk how Garcia's was 1.5 points better.

Wow, scores on Garcia's dive ranged from 6 to 8.5. Less than 2 points separating the top 3.

The other Canadian, Zsombor-Murray has a high degree of difficulty as well.

Sorry, Ware was better than Schultz on the last two dives. The judges seemed intent on getting Schultz on the podium. But congrats to Abel and Hernandez Monzon!

Looks like it'll be a battle for the lesser medals between CAN, MEX and USA. They all have the same level of difficulty on the next two dives, so it'll come down to execution.

I thought Ware was going to flop, but she had the strength to straighten up enough to get a reasonable score. It's what separates the Olympians from the rest.

Agreed. I only say Celine because it would be hilarious. My heart will go on. They were playing Arcade Fire at the Trampoline event.

And just like that, Canada passes Mexico into 3rd on the medal table. Hopefully our divers and table tennis players we can get by Brazil tonight, too. Edit: And Guo in fencing is going for gold, too!

That was a really good routine by the Mexican girl, but she ended it really oddly. I guess that's what ultimately hurt her (small other things, but nothing huge).
