    Going to final round, 2nd and 3rd in a good fight. Could catch Mexico if they mess up.

    Well, if Canada can snag the gold they'll move back into 2nd on the medal table. A motivation that the competitors are surely unaware and uninterested in.

    I feel like they're trying to play country-appropriate music for each diver, like they just played Party in the USA for the American. I want some Celine Dion for our Canadians! I demand it!

    Of course it's not personal. Like I said, my opinion of the dive went down on the replay, so maybe it'd go down even more if I watched it again. Every point counts.

    I wouldn't have been surprised by 7's, but maybe I'm biased. Maybe I need to see it again.

    Really? I thought it was underscored live, but on replay I thought the score was fair.

    I've never seen anyone go into an armstand like the Brazilian girl just did. She didn't seem to have much control over it before going down, either.

    Francois Having said that, he still almost qualified despite getting 0 on a dive.

    This tempo race in the women's omnium is a joke. Two riders are capable of competing.

    What a finish in women's sprints! What a comeback by Rodriguez! But Walsh took her foot off the gas at the end. Still don't know who won. Edit: Walsh won. Still haven't seen a good replay, though.

    Congratulations to Mexico (and Brazil). Canada did very well, especially considering their age. Great last dive.

    Essentially Canada and Mexico are battling for 2nd spot on the medal table with this gold in diving now.

    So the CBC shows 1m diving with no Canadians, then switches to boxing when the Canadian team is going for a medal in the 10m synchro.

    Looks like Mexico will move ahead of Canada on the medal table after they win gold in diving (probably).
