  1. Yea, the BWF wrote not eligible beside his name (then updated it ). http://system.bwfbadminton.com/uploads/2016/06/21/Olympic qualifiers from WR 05-05-16 - 21 June phase 3 MS updated.pdf
  2. Any of the four (Canada/Serbia/Spain/USA) can beat any team in Group A imo. Unbalanced.
  3. Go Samoa, Spain qualfying would be as bad as France qualifying in water polo
  4. Why should the calendar be affected because of that? Usually Continental championships happen in June and provide a last chance for athletes to qualify for Rio...

  6. I don't look at Gracenote's virtual table. Its full of errors lol. Anything above 18 medals will be a success for Canada.
  7. So what is the likely quota reallocation?
  8. " they can qualify second one through the continental cup (like germany on the men side for example)" - that one
  9. The countries that have qualified do not count for points. So if you finish fourth and are the first country not qualified you get the max 28 points. Second place gets 25, third gets 23, fourth 22 and so on.
  10. Why do you need to post that in two different posts on separate days?
  11. Raonic and Pospisil have announced they are competing in doubles together. So looks like Nestor is out.
  12. For all the tennis experts, what are the chances of Daniel Nestor competing in the doubles event?
  13. Lol Group A... The 4 teams Canada probably did not want...
  14. I think FIVB is smart enough to realize that was a mistake and hopefully its gone
  15. This quad was unique in that Brazil was hosts, and with FIVB and putting that dumb qualification tournament with 4 teams (that was pure luck). So in 2020 at best 4 will be in Rio.
  16. Congrats UK!!! Surprised with India... Thought they would do much better.
