    Canada struggled without a velodrome till 2015 and then bam medals in 2016 and 2020. Hoping somehow facilities are built and maintained for younger Canadians to take up the sport.

    Gavin Mckenna of the Yukon territory, scored 32 points at the 2023 Canada Winter Games, the highest in a single edition of one games. Possible future star to keep an eye out on.

    Not surprised with Haiti qualifying. They have had some good youth teams in the past couple cycles and it's obviously now paying dividends on the senior team
