  1. Another medal for Slovakia
  2. But the one that keeps me awake beyond my bedtime.
  3. wow, Brown not hitting below 28 in all her sets of this match and yet she’ll only fight for 3rd place Respect
  4. Wow, and the streak of bad results for Mexico today continue… Arantxa Chavez with a no dive so that’s all for her
  5. Exactly… she perform as well as she could given her circumstances. I was rooting for her cause she’s a legend, but can’t deny today Paige did a cleaner routine so congrats to the Brit for that bronze.
  6. Indeed it is, but a nice one
  7. Oh stop crying, Canada has some gold. Mexico only couple of bronzes and tons of 4ths
  8. In the end it was her own fault… she had everything to win those first two sets and let the opportunity go. Sad for her, but that’s how this sport goes.
  9. I can’t harder
  10. Wow, lack of international competitions had ita effect the orherwise infalible Koreans
  11. OMG one of the biggest surprise for Mexico in Tokyo. after some unfortunate routines from other competitors Dafne Navarro is in the final @Braulio I’m so happy for her
  12. Wow, a lot of incidents indeed. I thought sailors were competitive, but not to direct intimidation. That thing between Rindom & the Dutch sailor with the difficult name was catty as hell.
  13. What happenned? Looks like Rindom will win gold today
  14. I know… that last round was his nerves crashing Just like Zavala 5 years ago in women’s air pistol
  15. Now just staying on to watch Orozco in the final. No matter what place he finishes, he will now obtain the best result for a Mexican male shooter since our first and only medalist (Gustavo Huet) medalist in the sport at LA 1932
  16. Gold for Slovakia
  17. San Marino And medal for Slovakia too
  18. OMG Jorge Orozco in the final Our first qualifier for the Games now beats more seasoned shooters and is in the final
  19. Forgot about earlier and way more enjoyable (at least for me) upset by Cordon advancing to knock out rounds
  20. Number 1 seed Kento Momota is out
  21. Yes, Germans were among the “least worst”, no terrible mistake and a decent difficulty degree, so that was their reward. Japanese were quite decent, but still need to polish their entries and lack a great value dive All around the overall level has been dismal, but given most of the divers have not competed regularly, what one could expect. Only Daley (who mostly carried Lee to that Gold) and both US medalist teams showed something decent.
  22. And an undeserved bronze for Castillo/Celaya , courtesy of Ruediger and the Russians last fails. Too bad Mears/Goodfellow couldn’t deliver until the last dive Edit: Judges saved the ass of the Germans. Well, they deserved the podium more
  23. Podium for the US divers Probably the only ones that deliver a consistent performance all around, with a great final execution
  24. Terrible round, even China failing (but getting undeserved 8’s in execution and synchro)
  25. Yahel failing even the lowest dives Another medal for the Americans, with the Germans probably joining them in the podium. Btw, Russians deserved 5’s for their last dives
