  1. For sure: Rojas for sure, small chance for Diaz in men’s kata in combat sports, but it will be 10 medals at most for them, their lowest in 40+ years in either hockey, volley or basket, could grab one in sailing too. 50/50 Camacho could sneak in women’s hurdles or a medal in men’s boxing lost a good opportunity in tae kwon do today, but boxing could give them some joy. Few options: in men’s surf in women’s surf in sailing Any other latin american athlete winning a medal will be a huge surprise
  2. Well, expected and deserved gold & silver for & Congratulations to the German divers for a solid performance and bronze medal
  3. Wow, what a mistake for Abel… last call if Canada wants a medal. USA first dive was excellent, second one good and a little overscored in synchro Finally judges noticed those mistakes by China
  4. First event of this Olympic Games Judges already giving extra .5 to the Chinese pair Mexico you just don't fail such a simple dive
  5. First medal for Spain
  6. Sadly Corral will be watching the AA final only as a reserve Bitter end for our first World Championships medalist
  7. Bronze for Mexico
  8. Congratulations Netherlands for your first medal
  9. Congrats to Iran for the Gold medal and Serbia and China for the podium
  10. First medal of the games for a Mexican born woman
  11. First medal chance for Mexico Your prediction was right @Braulio
  12. I agree with you. I’d limit the count to the Chief officer for each country. Parade focus should be athletes, period.
  13. I think I wouldn’t pronounce Schloesser correctly, but again, our users from the Rio de la Plata wouldn’t pronounce Bayardo properly
  14. Why? What does Schloesser means? I’m not sure what Bayardo means in Spanish, but I guess something related to berries (bayas in Spanish).
  15. Good luck to Gaby Bayardo
  16. No never, have I posted/texted while in the bathroom.
  17. Already went for my pee break
  18. Had I Imagine that, I wouldn’t have set my alarm clock to be this snoozer. i understand there wouldn’t be spectators at the stadium, but where are the real showstoppers, the emotiveness, even the corny yet entertaining of an OC? For comparison, I still remember the rendition of “When Children rule the World” from Nagano 1998, and my brain brings back the voice from the kids and the lead singer. This is plain bad.
  19. I’ll return soon… mu stomach can’t handle this.
  20. Really? Instead of some interesting, full of energy presentation of Japanese tradition & modernity they give us a washed down rendition of Imagine Poor athletes in the stadium watching a big screen
  21. Paraguay beating Italy in tackiness
  22. Every time I see Bach on screen I feel like barfing
  23. Lovely intro for the athletes parade.
