That’s Ecuador on the plane to Korea!! And extra good news for Bruna, maintaining her 100% Brazilian record and with a time that would beat lots of the Brazilian men!

Jungbluth scored some great FIS points in yesterday's race.
His average is now 308, so he should be able to secure first ever Ecuadorian qualification by the end of the Sao Carlos races.
Hopefully, but he scored 487 points today!! He needs to improve his 5th score, currently 375, so something around 330 points should be enough to send him to PyeongChang!

Awful decision by European Weightlifting to move the European Weightlifting Chanpionships to late 2018 so that banned countries can take part! Makes a mockery of the ban, hope the IWF steps in and bans them from the 2018 European Championships whenever it is held in the year.

Wow the Israeli pair have set a huge new pb of 115.7 up from 107.4. This piles the pressure onto North Korea and Czech Republic.
-
In the women’s singles
currently a little way clear of
who are chasing behind.
@dcro do you know if the tough Swedish entry standards apply to their women’s single, because that would open a space for one of the chase group to qualify?
-
Bit below par for North Korea, 4 points down on last years World Championships.
Might be tough for them to finish in top 4 here if Israel and the Czech Republic are at their best in the free skate. They may well need to rely on a reallocated French quota unless they produce near their best in the free.
-
Slightly different but Para bobsleigh will be added to the Beijing 2022 Paralympic programme. So maybe they will also try and add a new Olympic sport as well?

What a surprising entry from GB :o Bold one
Everyone seems to be having the idea of picking something a bit different this year! Will make for a very interesting selection of songs in the end and potentially some very diverse voting as many different styles will appeal to different users.
