  2. I apologize for overlooking your post. While trying to find the number of competitors per each NOC, I found an article that mentioned the Bahamian one didn’t thought the men’s basketball and softball teams could “achieve” anything, so they were left out.

  5. There was an explanation on a Guatemala newspaper yesterday. At the beginning there were 6 registerd athletes for the women's event and 5 for men's event, when competition started only 4 showed up for each event, and even though it runned, they were later dismissed as part of the official tally. I also noticed that they did not cancelled the 4x400m mixed relay even though only had 4 entries.

    Varljivo leto 2023.

  13. I don't follow Taekwondo so close, so @MHSN may have an answer for your question. But I took a look at the official ranking, and at her profile here: http://www.worldtaekwondo.org/ranking/ranking.html She is listed on 14th position for Olympic Ranking at -57kg. She doesn't appear at Olympic Ranking for -67kg. But, she is 12th at World Ranking for this category

  26. Indeed a great chance for a further European country to qualify. Especially for Germany it would be a shame if only Leonie Ebert or Anne Sauer could qualify. Unfortunately they are missing a third good fencer which is making team qualification more difficult.

  27. history has taught us that if a couple does everything together and is together all the time, that is never a good idea. A Slovak proverb says: don´t shit where you work... which is I guess the same meaning as the english old saying "Don´t shit where you eat". Anyway, I obviously wish them only the best and sweet and eternel love

  34. Absolutely right, in the latest world cup series Elodie consistently had good score in fencing and swimming and despite the fact that Equestrian can’t be predicted but recently she is struggling a lot in laser run and dropped few positions each time. In men competition you have three good candidates to qualify, Valentin Belaud, Chris Pattee and Pierre Dejardin, hopefully would be easy to catch one of the ranking slots Also I am expecting more allocation to ranking slots as some of already qualified athletes will end up in the top three positions in 2023 WCH and 2024 WCH Good luck for them mate 😊

  44. The mighty great USA rejected visa for almost half of the Iran volleyball NT players and almost the whole coaching staff. only 12 players (from the wide list, some of them wasn't really supposed to play) received visa +1 coach. half of the starters from the 2nd week are already heading back home, two more players + couple of coaches are still waiting in Frankfurt for a possible last second visa. that's great, isn't it ? this is happening over and over and nothing happens, law of the jungle PS: apparently FIVB won't count 3rd week results for Iran in the World Ranking. not sure if the same applies for the opposite teams (FRA/BUL/ARG/CUB) that's how they convinced Iran VF to send this incomplete team instead of the original decision of not going at all. (that's kind of damage control, Iran wasn't prepared for this VNL and could probably lose more ranking points)
