Real question, We had the Black Death, Plague of London, Plague of Justinian, Spanish Flu, etc. Anyone have a good nickname for Covid-19?

Who even came up with the name Covid-19?  sounds like a name for a phone model. Are there any other diseases with numbers in their name?

I believe many of the “proper” names for diseases include numbers, but it’s not really my field of expertise so I wouldn’t know. Covid-19 is just Coronavirus 2019 simplified from my understanding.

Actually, those are simply virus subtypes, the disease that caused the infection was influenza.

In practice, we can move only for working, if the workplace is still open, or for sanitary emergencies. In theory, everything is open, in practice there are several limitations. This is to allow people who works in sanitary, essential services, food markets and so on to keep on working and be able to work fine (think of people whose workplace are not allowed to have a canteen)

obviously, at the moment, there is also the chance of go out to buy food and medicines
