I doubt it's the Mexican way, but I know a 'famous' way of drinking tequila involves licking up a bit of salt, throwing down the tequila in one try and then bite a lemon (or something like that) :p

Yep, that sounds oh soooo familiar

Eating ants are really a thing in South America. My dad eats tanajura ants everytime they're available. I hate they, though :p

Drinking tequila is so much work though, with all the salt and lemon and stuff :p

That's the "tourist" way to drink tequila.

It actually has a lot of notes and flavours, it depends of how and what kind you drink.

There's a whole art about Tequila drinking in fact.

My ex taught me that (let's say she was.....a bit experienced when it comes to drinking everything at parties in Brazil ) and I found it to be such a strange thing to do...licking salt, eating half a lemon, what the hell

Drinking wine is so much easier :d

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!
