Wenger has too much free time in his senior years. He needs a new hobby, i suggest bird watching. Leave the football in the past monsieur.

CONCACAF and AFC look to be pro-biennial World Cup, UEFA and CONMEBOL look to be anti-biennial World Cup. It looks more and more like the future of football and the World Cup will decided by the OFC and CAF. Of course that is all dependent on member associations voting according to the will of their continental bodies.

Not sure about earpieces, since they'd be taking away even more of the 'independence' of players, but I'm assuming that was just one small example. Generally speaking, football is of course badly behind almost any other sports in terms of...well, most things. So yeah, generally not a bad point :p

Egomaniac coach wants to be more in the spotlight by turning into the protagonist of the game, comparing the sport to another one in which the play time is like 5% of the total and almost all players are ultra specialized tools who don't even have to think.

CONCACAF CHAMPIONS

Suriname Vice President Plays in Concacaf League Match at 60 Years Old :old:

His efforts were in vain on Tuesday, however, with Inter Moengotapoe losing 6–0, and things took a turn after the match, with video circulating of Brunswijk handing out money to Olimpia players in the opposing locker room.

Concacaf issued a statement Wednesday expressing concern and stating that an investigation would take place.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.
