Soooo now Slovenia vs Germany could play to lose so they avoid Canada..

No. Not if Latvia defeats Brazil.

Edit, because I switched the order. But the general situation remains, that it's unclear, where Canada will end up in Group L.

Amazing tournament, lots of surprises. Absolutely love it! I think i got less than half of the winners right today. Brazil winning is clearly the biggest surprise for me, followed by Latvia, Slovenia and Italy.

Germany has to decide whether they want to take the risk of not playing Wagner against Slovenia. Canada still looks clearly more dangerous than Latvia, so Germany should try everything they can to avoid them.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

The :BRA - :LAT match that will decide a quarterfinal spot is really intriguing. It will be a nice surprise to see either of those teams make it.

Ya, Canada can finish in literally any position in the group. That being said, the outcome of the :BRA - :LAT game will decide if Canada advances in first or second if they beat Spain.

:CAN and :LAT win: :CAN is first, :LAT is second, :ESP is third, :BRA is fourth

:ESP and :LAT win: :LAT is first, :ESP is second, :BRA is third, :CAN is fourth

:CAN and :BRA win: :BRA is first, :CAN is second, :LAT is third, :ESP is fourth

:ESP and :BRA win: :ESP is first, :BRA is second, :CAN is third, :LAT is fourth
