Usa - I was gonna say day 1 however with no swimming on day 1 I'm pessimistic about those specific events in shooting and fencing.

Israel - possible on day 2 with Richter in shooting. More realistic is day 4, Judo men's 81kg with Sagi Muki

It's always interesting to look at the Olympic schedule and forecast when your nation's big medal chances will be. Will they be early in the program, in the final days, or will they be spread out over the course of the 16 days of medal winning action (the dream scenario )?

Here is the link to the day-to-day schedule to help with your forecast:

    https://totallympics.com/qualification-tracker/tokyo2020/tokyo-2020-schedule_by_day/

When is the first realistic medal chance of the Games for your nation?

When do you think your nation will get their first medal and in which event?

Is there a bumper day for your nation where you expect more than one or a few medals to come? If so, what day?

Is there a day when you expect to have not so much competitors from your nation competing or no chances for medals?

Wow, incredible that we aren't sending anyone. We just sent a full team to the European qualifiers. Sad that Psarra isn't getting one last chance to make it to her sixth consecutive Olympics. She had only a very small chance anyways, but after this it seems like Greek archery is dead. This is the final nail in the coffin. A shame because I actually like the sport

speaking of devil, have you heard the story when our hockey team had an audience with the Pope before the Winter Olympics in Torino, and someone from the team had the great idea to give to the pope a gift and for some reason choosed our captain's jersey.

"the Summer equivalent of Prince Albert of Monaco"? Seriously?

Johannessen may very well be on the way to a European Tour Card, Campos is on the PGA Tour, Yuan (at the moment) on the way to a PGA Tour card, Gavin Green is on the European Tour and Zanotti the same. That's the bottom five at the moment all on (or with chances of reaching) the top 2 tours.

The main issue is that the golf schedule is already packed and the Olympics haven't got the prestige (yet). Plenty of major golfers still feel strongly about participating and some of those who withdrew 5 years ago have made it clear that they regret doing so.
The universality is a major part of the Olympics and one of few things that still show some of the spirit of the first Olympic Games. Making a selection where even decent golfing nations like Denmark and Germany would struggle to qualify (in the men's tournament) would make things so unolympic that even I as a supporter of Olympic golf would say that it should be left out!

since Tomita was injured at the end of the fight and couldn't even walk anymore, Asahina carried her on her shoulders and tokke her to the locker room...she did even make the salute to the judges and the tatami with her (not so light) teammate on her shoulders...
