well it seems Keikha had a fall from the Pommel Horse  poor guy trained months only for this 1 minute of performance. probably too much stress to handle.

I assume his Olympic chance is pretty much gone, right ? he is 4th in World Cup Series Ranking and the Taiwanese guy will qualify with his team here but then China and Japan can qualify individual athletes (alongside with their team) there is no way Keikha can improve his ranking. at best he can keep his place which won't be enough I think

our other athlete here Ahmad-Kohani had a good performance (relatively good. considering his level) 9th place for now in Rings. a top 20 finish will be good for him.

btw if Milad Karimi qualifies for Kazakhstan, at least there will be an Iranian in Olympic gymnastics :d

A similar result happened with Rhys McClenagan last year. Fell twice but it turned out he was injured. Thankfully iy looks very much like he'll have his Olympic place confirmed today.

Olympic hopefuls after subdivision 6/8 (assuming Germany can potentially qualify a team):

Team: :USA :TPE :BRA :ESP

Apparatus:

FX: :ISR
PH: :IRL :FRA
SR: :TUR :FRA :GRE :ITA
VT: :HKG :VIE :AUS

PB: :TUR
HB: :AUS

AA:
:CUB :ITA :KAZ :FRA :LTU :ISR :TUR :BUL :MEX :CAN :CYP :AZE

Reallocations:
:BLR :NOR :CZE :CHI :BEL :VIE (if not qualified on vault)

It looks like every country from Cuba to Cyprus will qualify either through all-around or reallocation. Azerbaijan, Belarus and Norway should be fine too. Vietnam's gymnast has put himself in a complicated situation now. I was sure he would qualify, but with strong contenders still to come from Armenia and Dominican Republic on vault, his Olympic quota might be on the line now.

Ahh crap, no worries.... thanks anyway for your informative posts.

I think Megan is first alternate. If any of those above her get injured or are not chosen by their NOC than she's in. Not over yet.....
