There is ZERO chance of that happening.  That would be a horrendous decision.  Everything is not ready.  The Coliseum isn't set up for athletics.  The temporary swimming venue isn't there.  And do we know if UCLA and USC dorms are ready to go?

 

I remember hearing talk that if the Qatar got stripped of the 2022 World Cup, that the United States would offer to step in.  No thank you.  I don't want their sloppy seconds.  As it is with LA.. let them host the 2028 Olympics that they will have spent over a decade planning for.  Not to rush up and have a half-assed Olympics.

It would not be possible at this point. We still don’t have all the venues required, and we haven’t had a enough time to plan.

That's a shame, I worked a bit with him. My guess is he appeared to be a bit too official so I imagine the IOC got him for impersonation.

Oh wait, what kind of account was it? I thought it was something official and for example every day another Olympic athlete got control of it, but I didn't actually think of checking it
