Federer91 2,140 Posted June 23, 2023 #13 Share Posted June 23, 2023 As expected, very tough match against Gallagher, but Ibanez had slightly more energy in the last round.
Rafa Maciel 1,259 Posted June 25, 2023 #14 Share Posted June 25, 2023 (edited) All of the weight divisions now down to at least the last 16. Italy and Ukraine currently sitting top of the pile with 12 boxers still in contention whilst Armenia and Turkey are close behind both having 11 boxers left. Ireland have lost two fighters but still have 10 in play. It was a pretty disastrous day for GBR as they lost a further 3 bouts to leave them with 9 boxers still in contention. Also sitting on 9 fighters left are Spain, Poland and France. Edited June 25, 2023 by Rafa Maciel Benolympique

Looks like we'll have more fighters entering the 2 global qualifiers than we thought, the lack of competition seems to have affected them. Hopefully we don't lose anymore of the 9. phelps 6,875 Posted June 25, 2023 #16 Share Posted June 25, 2023 very, very tough bout between Cavallaro and Walsh in the men's -71kg. finally, it was the Italian to get the call by the slimmest of margin. tbh, I didn't expect that.
