We are waiting for 10 songs (or maybe more if other countries want to join before the deadline), the window closes in 12 hours and 30 minutes.
Btw, I think we now have the most non-European nations (17) competing in the history of the contest. The previous record was 15 (Open 2015, Annual 2019, Open 2019, Annual 2020).
Asia (6)
South America (4)
North America (3)
Africa (2)
Oceania (2)
@intoronto This video of the song is available everywhere: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmURDjt7Ex8
I think we are still missing more than half of the songs, so Venezuela aren't the only ones who probably need a reminder that we only have 4 days until the deadline.
The most notable countries that are missing 5 days before the deadline...
And 3 other countries that participated somewhat recently...
For the first time ever Hungary sends a Romani artist to TISC, someone who many of you probably know from Eurovision. (And yes, even when I finally send a more popular song from a more well-known artist, it's still not a regular popsong. ) Please, welcome Joci Pápai and his single from 2017, "Özönvíz".
Hungary
Joci Pápai - Özönvíz
Lyrics
is in.
I think I already know what my choice is for the Hungarian entry. I have "experimented" with some less popular songs recently, this time I think I will just submit a very popular song, with over 20 million views on YouTube, from an artist many of you probably know from Eurovision. I am just curious what happens when I submit something very popular, we haven't submitted a song like that since the 2020 annual contest.
Nice, so we are officially completing the V4 TISC "tetralogy".

I would like to thank everyone who made this contest possible. @Sindo for maintaining the site, @OlympicIRL for their guidance, @dcro for their contributions, @vinipereira for the logo of the contest, @mrv86 for the draw tables. @hckošice @Cinnamon Bun @Cobi @Wumo for their participation in the draw. And of course I would like to thank all the jury members who participated in the contest.
And as the jury member of Hungary I would also like to thank everyone who voted for our song. I never expected this song to reach the 6th place, that was the most surprising result of the contest for me. Thank you!

Spain 12
My first TISC participation was the 2019 Open contest and guess what TISC meme originated from that contest? I guess the prophecy was right, Spain had to win the contest which was hosted by me. Joking aside, Spain collected 160 points, 4 x 12 pts from
, 1 x 11 pts from
and 3 x 10 pts from
. There are no questions about which was the strongest nation of this contest. I would like to congratulate @Cobi, Spain was long overdue for this kind of success in TISC. And now we shall end the contest the way every song contest should, with the winning song.
Goodbye 2022 Annual Contest, Goodbye Hungary, see ya at the next contest, hopefully in Czech Republic, and then next year in Spain!
Tanxugueiras - TERRA
Szózat
Before we end the ceremony and the contest with the winners, there's one more Hungarian tradition that I want to share. We start our ceremonies with our anthem and we end our ceremonies with another national song, the Szózat (Summons), which is considered the second anthem of Hungary. So to respect this tradition, Hungary is saying goodbye to TISC with the Szózat.
100 and Beyond
It's time to celebrate the best nations of our contest, please give a big round of applause to all those who cleared the 100 points line this year. There are 12 of them, but the most special one will get their own post later.

Team Challenge Final Standings
There's no TISC without a team event and this time the most consistent team won the contest. The Szombathely Romans always had at least one nation in their team that helped them out in every session, they were a real team. Fehérvár Saints were the strongest team for session 2 and 3 but their mojo ran out in the last session. And while Pécs Scholars were already eliminated in the first round, they fought their way through the repechages and won the bronze medal.

One-on-One Matches
This contest isn't about 1v1 matches but I still would like to see what made the difference between the top nations. The tables will show the points difference per nations. For example, if a nation gave Nation A 12 points while they gave Nation B 8 points, they will be seen on the left side of the table with +4 points for Nation A.

Charts!
I hope you like charts because I got two of them. During the final I posted the summaries of the sessions where I showed you the progression of the Top10. Now you will see something similar for the whole final and for the Top 12 nations because they were the ones that crossed the 100 points line. 12 is a record number of nations to reach 100 points at a contest, it only happened one other time, at the 2018 Annual contest, where we had 41 nations competing.
The first chart shows the rankings, the second one the collected points.
Welcome to the Closing Ceremony
Welcome to the last event of our contest, the Closing Ceremony. Don't worry, you don't have to hike this time, it will be only the celebration of the best songs of the contest and it won't take too long, you can expect it to end in half an hour. I hope you still remember the final standings of the contest, but if you don't, you can see them below.

Btw, I was very worried that the swaps on the voting order will change things significantly for the team event, so I am very happy to say that we got lucky: the two swaps (Indonesia-Ukraine, India-Moldova) didn't alter the team event, we would have had the same final standings with the original draw.
I can finally talk about how the voting went when was receiving the votes from you: it was insane. Very different from the voting of the Grand Final, but one thing was very similar: Spain pulled ahead with the last batch of the votes that I got. There were times when Finland was winning. There were times when Hungary was winning. I was like "lol, don't tell me that I will win the contest that I am hosting. ". Spain's win and the medals for Ireland and Great Britain only became clear on the last 1-2 days of the voting.
Session 4 Summary
While we wait for the Closing Ceremony, I will post the summary of the last session. Here are the countries that scored the most points in Session 4.
-
Hungary - 59 points
-
Italy - 41 points
-
Finland - 40 points
-
Poland - 38 points
-
Spain - 38 points
-
Czech Republic - 34 points
-
Croatia - 34 points
-
Denmark - 33 points
-
Ireland - 32 points
-
Ukraine - 31 points
And here's the progression of the final Top10 during the fourth session.

This might be an anticlimactic ending for you, but it sure isn't for the home crowd!
and jumps up to the 6th position on the table.
and wins their first TISC medal since Open 2018.
And of course we shouldn't forget about that...
The voting is over but there's still one more event left: the Closing Ceremony!
It will start in 30 minutes at 22:30 CEST.

@Hipooo I think three already submitted songs are missing from the table. Croatia, Kazakhstan and Italy.
