I like this current Omnium format, but the suggestion I’d make would to make it a two day event once more (with 2 races a day). Then, give us a extended 50 lap Scratch Race and a extended 50 lap Tempo Race on the first day, with the Elimination Race and Points Race on the second day.

But then it's still a nonsense event with only endurance and nothing else. Omnium really, really needs at least something short in it. Flying lap, 500m time trial, whatever, it's bullshit to have it as an endurance-only event, takes the whole reason to have an omnium in the first place out of it.
