  1. as always as in nordic combined - when i`m predicting surprises.....they take place in this second competition like today , sure that not when i predicted them
  2. nice to see Slovenia back. pitty that Macedonia vanished and Bosnia never created a good team
  3. :D, i decided to risk for Watabe (bronze)- we both were quite close...as always...quite close
  4. some internal standards are possible, maybe not that harsh like in NZ but still. I know it`s nice to go for WC...
  5. this is the problem. If they can`t "produce" anyone better does it mean that our only athlete loses by over 20 sec? If they don`t have anyone of some level of "dignity acceptance"....maybe it`s better not to send anyone. If she`s another 20 secs slower still being best in PL she should start? This is not the best motivation, example and explanation. We are not Togo
  6. Finland c`mon - coverage worse than in Burundi as to our skier - sending athletes on THAT low level...should be forbidden in our law . Seriously - coaches are blind? How u can propose someone in that shape to represent Poland at WC? I will never undesratnd it
  7. very strange "live coverage" as for a modern country.......
  8. as to Nordic WC prediction Poland....does not have a mixed ski jumping team

  11. 1st and 2nd were some kind of a joke 3rd - why not, i`m thinking about it, there`s one problem, i`m terrible with computers (editing) etc - could u write me in priv how does it look, some instructions?
  12. if they say they see it...they pretend it
  13. yeah sure, i just get the impression that level of Winter Universiades gets just a bit lower and lower and becomes seemingly weaker than Summer one. Still it`s nice to have it around, some Polish athletes will finish their careers with some int. medals
  14. rugby is quite exotic also here, ok - i have some impression that Italy is weaker than France, sure, but don`t know any details. Just not to be last is my quest
  15. looking briefly at some results...to say the truth...they`re bit funny it gives away some kind of seriousity to this event
  16. , ok, so sorry i am, how could i! :D, let him do it if he wants
  17. Muhammad well, this is a strong sign of cultural HUGE changes, just an observation + my Monty Python`s type of thinking, not a judgement!
  18. 1st - you shouldn`t do it on your own, that would be infernal! 2nd - woman`s ice hockey / tennis / track cycling / beach soccer are not that interesting, maybe u should spare some time for yourself 3rd - as to sth extra, why not those X-Games, they are held In Wrocław, Poland this year - they are Olympic Games of B sports, it could be intrigguing
  19. for guys Jan (John), Piotr (Peter), Michał (Michael), Krzysztof (Christopher), Tomasz (Tom), Jacek (Jack) for girls Anna, Maria, Katarzyna (Kate), Zofia, Małgorzata (Margaret), Agnieszka, Agata - i mean traditionally but as Rybak written probably as reaction to tradition now other names are more "popular / fancy"
  20. well, are the play-offs more difficult to predict? Depends on how u look at it. In group stage not all teams play 100% (QAT), sometimes they have sure 1st place / progression so they play weaker (HUN with BLR) at the end of the group or they want to lose to play some weaker in their opinion team or they save fuel for next round (older teams like Poland in Rio). So maybe group stage is more difficult. And remember, before the start it`s harder to judge teams abilities, after 5 games it`s easier. Play-offs are more black-and-white, all play 100%, pure knowledge wins so multipliers in play-offs are questionable for me. I accept them but not totally agree that play-offs are more difficult to predict.
  21. what kind of bonus do you have in mind? It would be possible to make 1 bonus match per day with some extra points for users who will predict the exact result - good for handball, basketball, water polo, rugby and ice hockey - high score team sports. In football it could be which player scores first (field hockey the same), in volleyball maybe how much points the best scorer will have. Final points (without hundreds) of winners in figure skating etc. But do we need it. Wouldn`t it turn more like to bet contests? For me the simpler the better
