I'm also one that does not mind a bit seeing them not wanting to retire just *yet*. Was the same with Ivica Kostelić on our side. If he still loves skiing, and qualifies for races, go for it. Results will suck, but I reckon they still have fun.

Thanks, it does sound a bit reasonable, though not sure how much more excitement they bring to the race. Didn't miss them a bit at Olympics!

Sorry for perhaps a silly question, still a bit of a newbie about cross-country skiing, but what's with giving points for sprint in 30/50 km races?

I'm behind on lot of things. Few days ago watched speed skating sprint championship (which was on live a few days before that). Watched in Russian, so didn't understand much, plus victory ceremony after *each* race confused me a bit. At the end, total time of all four races counted. Also, atmosphere was lacking a lot, empty hall, with just one section with spectators. Yesterday was the high jump men and women time. Women's was unexciting, but loved the end of men's. Still 2nd, 3rd and 4th day of Birmingham championship to see. Biathlon is back today!

They kept it quiet for a year or so? I mean, duration is 17 months, yet expires in five...

Enjoyed yesterday's races. Though, would've preferred that TV coverage included more intermediate times for more skiiers, and less starters showing.

And here she comes again. No matter how she's in slalom, great run in super g.

Great for Vlhova, will be close battle with Holdener, but I see her as a favourite. Hirscher is a phenomenon.
