Wow! I didn't expect US giving the 12 points to a song that criticizes American behavior in Latin America 

In that stance, I guess both of us are what we call 'woke'. We have done some shady shit over there, so I'm not surprised

It's an honour for the Host Jury to welcome you all to the Opening Ceremony for TISC Open 2019. We have tried our best to welcome all participants with open arms here to small and beautiful Denmark. 
Without you, we could not make TOTALLYMPICS INTERNATIONAL SONG CONTEST. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 
First we want to present what our small, but beautiful country can offer.

We’re back in the greater Copenhagen area, where we can welcome @Vektor, @Cobi, @Bohemia and @Benolympique to Rødovre. It was at the local high school that the band Sods played their very first concert back in 1977 in 1981 the band changed name to Sort Sol and later participated in the 2017 TISC Open.
Just like many other towns in the greater Copenhagen area, Rødovre was a small farming village before Copenhagen started growing. During the war against Sweden in 1660 the church of the village was destroyed and the villagers ordered to go to another church nearby. In the end of the 1800s, new fortifications around Copenhagen was built including ramparts in the west, cutting small parts of the town from the rest. Rødovre remained a mainly rural town until about 1930, where it became more of a modern suburb. As a such it started growing rapidly and even had the first indoor mall in Denmark.

It is hard to mention Rødovre and sports without mentioning ice hockey.Rødovre has won the Danish championships 6 times and several of the Danish NHL stars including Jannik Hansen, Mikkel Bødker and Lars Eller had their domestic career here.

To spend some time here, we recommend the Heerup museum, walking along the old wester ramparts and visiting the cold war bunker, Ejbybunkeren just like a stroll around the Damhus Lake is lovely.

if all 4 top european teams qualify the whole package, then Carlos Llavador in men's Foil should be one of the individual qualifiers (at the moment, he and Kruse are surely the best fencers in our continent outside ITA, FRA, RUS and GER)...
 
then, there are a couple of big "if"...
 
Yulen Pereira has the chance to achieve the qualification in men's Epee, but here the contenders are so many and especially in this weapon it's everything so close that you can never be sure to end up on top of any tournament...
 
and finally, I wouldn't call the women's sabre specialists out before the end of the qualification race...if all the top European teams/fencers qualify earlier, then at the final tournament, one of them could grab an Olympic spot with a bit of luck...
 
at the same time, I don't see any chance for any team, even the men's epee (despite some good results in the recent past, there are too few places available and too many very good teams already ahead of them)...

What a match! It is very tough to see the Irish players at the end of the game. It might be one of the worst forms of losing an Olympics quota...

And Canada is going to Tokyo. What drama... gotta feel for the Irish, that was snatched from them at the last second twice.
 
Amazing results from the Canadian team though, despite not playing that well. Credit for never giving up.

Our women's national team becomes the 6th Spanish team to qualify for Tokyo 2020 (2 field hockey + 2 waterpolo + basketball M + football M). Good job!

We have suffered a lot and we have not played better than France, but we have qualified!!! 
 
The French team has played very well and it is a pity not to see them in Tokyo, but I am sure that for Paris 2024 they will have a very strong squad.

VENEZUELA 
 
As I was not able to pick only one song for Venezuela, I decided to post two. Both were very popular in Spain and Latin America when the songs were released, although the style is completely different. The first one is reggaeton and the second is a Latin ballad.
