  1. Goggia just can't have a normal season can't she... She will have even more self doubt, if she is even in condition for the Olympics. WC is over pretty much too, as can't see her being in Garmisch.
  2. Forwarding this to the Bulgarian federation Time to prepare for Cortina.
  3. Dave the rocket Ryding damn Vinatzer and Razzo being Vinatzer and Razzo No matter how good their position is, or how good their run is going, you can bet they will DNF at any point.
  4. Team will be led by Radoslav Yankov (snowboard) and Milena Todorova (biathlon)
  5. Hmmm, a javelin video amounted 14 million views, after only 12 days of release. Weird. Is a good video though.
  6. It's always fun to mock ,but then there were people pretty much begging that New Zealand biathlete to switch nations a few days ago. And there were some other names mentioned as well in the past weeks by my recollection.
  7. This rotating overhead camera is a great new addition. Gives so much better and interesting perspective on the table and positioning. Hope they continue to have it in other tournaments as well, but sadly i think it's only for the Shoot-out, as it is the "relaxed" one.
  8. Nothing official yet from what i saw. I know they were expecting a potential quota here, but final confirmation should be received tomorrow.
  9. Can someone remind me again, why nations are rejecting quotas in general. Is it money based, because they have to pay for the travel, stay etc. and they don't want to bring athletes they know won't do good? All these rejections the last 2 days has made me sad, because we are probably going to send only 16 people. Our chief secretary said today, that he is hoping we could get 1-2 more after the deadlines depending on the acceptance. We are willing to send people, but the problem is, that we don't have them, while other nations have the people and don't want to send them.
  10. Says the Canadian, who have 55 quotas from snowboard and freestyle skiing.
  11. Why would the IOC care or get involved? This isn't sports related, it's a matter of national security! Every nation has the right to set their rules for entering their country. Isn't this what has been preached to the masses? I really hope, no i pray, they do it, just to see how hypocrite and two-faced the world order is. Not that any normal person doesn't see it.
  12. The more shocking news here is that Janne Ahonen is only 44 I always thought he was older, partially because of his numerous retirements.
  13. What is a combined, FIS says there is no such thing .
  14. 2 Sundays in-a-row Razzo was already at the buffet, couldn't find him for the podium lol. New record for biggest jump now. Hargin and Simmonet were 3rd from 30th and Braaten wins from 29th.
  15. Sweden taking every chance they get to shoot at Norway
  16. Scumbag politicians being scumbag politicians. If there was a real player union or ITF had some dignity they would boycott this shitshow. Pathetic stuff..
  17. Oh man, and i missed all the fun Apparently after 20 minutes had passed, an official stormed Mali's press conference and had them go back to play the last 3 minutes again. They went back, but nobody from Tunisia came out and they just waited out the time. And to think that officials at the top have decided that this guy is amongst their best referees and invited him at their biggest event and he twice ends the match before the regular time has passed.
  18. Alimbekava has more fourth places, than there are races this season
  19. Cross-country really is in the backburner of everyone it seems. I doubt France would cancel so quick, if it was biathlon or alpine, or Slovenia if it was ski-jumping.
  20. Finally, a sensible decision has been made in Australia! You can have whatever rules you'd like for regular people wanting to live there or tourists, but when you are organising a major sporting event with huge international participation, you have to make it possible for the athletes to compete. Spain don't recognize Kosovo, the whole country, the people's documents and passport's, nothing, yet they still allowed them to enter and play. Like i've said before, Australia should have made unvaccinated people take the 2 week quarantine and be tested every day, if they'd want, but but not directly stop them. Clear and cut decision, without any drama, but no, we had to make a spectacle. And now it backfired in their faces. As a Federer fan for 17 years, i never imagined a time, when i'd have to defend Djokovic, but this is not about him, but for the principle of competition and fairness.
  21. It is indeed bizarre how Austria is not having a full team. 9 places is really tight. If we do the count, they'd want 4 speedsters and 5 technicals. Secure places for me have Mayer, Kriechmayr and Striedinger in speed, and Feller, Schwarz, Brennsteiner in tech. Michael Matt should have been there as well, but his abysmal season so far has put a question mark for me. Beyond that, it could swing to different people and last minute decisions.
