How are the mixed team quotas given for Paris? Is it a combination only from the qualified athletes from the individual disciplines?

In Tokyo we had only 1 male boxer, which was an all time low. I would be lying, if i don't expect much more this time. But it's boxing, so actual performance usually doesn't matter... Some unfortunate draws, like today's match between our Cuban Ibanez and Gallagher, which a 1/2 caliber match, but one of them will lose in the first round.

Looks like karate isn't the hosts strong suite. Poland has lost all 7 bouts so far.

The kata nonsense is over and the real karate can start now. There was almost a surprise right at the start at 55, but Terliuga got the win over Yakan in the last 5 seconds. Of course i'm looking forward to what Ivet Goranova is going to do, as she is one of our best chances for a medal.
