  1. Well i had lunch at 13:30 today, as i was cleaning stuff in the rain, which is a bit late btw And it's almost 20 here, so i better start setting something for dinner. PS. i had a cheat cake and sweets around 16
  2. They did a switcheroo with those 11 BG points i think, after they saw the tight battle.
  3. If you have dinner at 18-18:30, how do you not get hungry again before going to bed
  4. Though it's the most famous Dua Lipa song, i don't have it in the top 5 as her best song.
  5. France made a fuss and suddenly started getting 12s
  6. The suspense of not having the general standings is killing me But if we need a breather to get everything organized i'm all for it.
  7. I'm digging the contest so far It's something in the air when BG creeps the top 10
  8. Not sure how free I will be during the day tomorrow, but will definitely be here in the evening for the final stretch
  9. I see you are not very familiar with American politics and how they work, otherwise you would know why a non-consecutive second term is much more historic, than a regular incumbent being reelected.
  10. Maybe, just maybe next time Democrats can campaign differently than "Women should vote for women, what kind of women don't support other women, if you don't vote for a black woman you are .... etc. "
  11. This is going to be a blockbuster win for Trump. He could potentially win all battlegrounds and made significant gains in serious blue states like Virginia, New Jersey, Illinois, Connecticut etc. States, with the exception of Virginia, where he virtually didn't run a campaign at all. Who knew 10 years ago, that Trump of all people will become one of the strongest political figures in American history. Only the second President to be re-elected in non-consecutive terms. And this after the unprecedented rhetoric and events around his persona.
  12. Awful end to the season
  13. Entering the middle? It doesn't feel like Winter sport season until the second week of November for me The middle of the season comes around Wengen and Kitzbuhel.
  14. Very weird not to have the tournament on a weekend. Can't remember a recent event, that started Monday to Thursday, instead of Thursday - Sunday.
  15. Pecco just can't make a significant improvement to go ahead of Martin in the GC. He is always 7-12-20 points and there aren't many races left.
  16. Everyone is always excited for the contests..... until they start.
  17. Finally managed to vote As usual i was rearranging some places until the end
  18. I expected Vonn to return in a speed event, but guess she wants to test herself first on a slower GS. Though at 40 i think she won't be doing many GSs and concentrate on the DH & SG. And hopefully she does that, because a full World Cup season should be out of her aim. As for Hirscher, he must really be scared of Odermatt breaking his records
  19. After the return of Marcel Hirscher, now there are rumors that one Lindsey Vonn is thinking of coming out of retirement.
  20. Looks like everyone has been busy with something. I think it will be best to extend the contest by 1 week, so everyone has time to vote.
  21. Voting ends on Friday right? Because on page 1 it says the 17th which is Thursday
  22. Yeah, most likely her mother is an obsessive money hungry monster, especially when you see her parading like a "manager" to a 16 year old.. I'm sure very few are faulting Elvira in this situation.
  23. There is a saying to never trust a Russian in gymnastics. Well, ex-Russian turned Bulgarian Elvira Krasnobaeva is transferring now to Armenia. The "official" reason is for personal, family matters, but in reality it's most likely because she wasn't selected for Paris, which angered her parents. Even though she is only 16, had her breakthrough just this year and started making mistakes, when they amped up the difficulty. Our Federation's President Iliana Raeva said today, that she received calls also from France and Azerbaijan about Elvira's mother basically auctioning her. Raeva mentioned, that Krasnobaeva was going to be a vocal point in the next Olympic cycle, but now she can hit the road and missed her chance to ever compete for Bulgaria, even if she wanted to in the future. We are also going to make a new Group from next season. After the disappointment in Paris, 4 out of the 5 girls announced their retirement.
