  1. Activity? That user has only one post and that is the entry in this contest. I won't be surprised if it was a ghost account by someone just to enter the contest.
  2. If it ends like this do I get prediction contest points?
  3. Thanks to everyone who has voted for India till now.
  4. Thanks for the weird entry. I listened to songs many times because some times I loved it and some times I couldn't understand why I am listening to this. Some other number of iteration and you could probably have received 8 or 9 points from me.
  5. There is a big difference in this particular incident and the way Israeli athletes are treated by a number of Muslim countries. This is an isolated incident. Every year a large number of international competitions are held in USA. Muslim nations and athletes take part in these competitions regularly without many problems. There is no doubt that organisers should have ensured that Rostami got his visa, but to say that USA should be banned from hosting events due to this is a bit over the top.
  6. I think @LDOG is referring to the qualifying tournaments for 2018 Youth Olympics. It seems they have been postponed and there is no clarity on the new schedule. Hockey India site has listed them as TBC for the year 2017 only.
  7. This reminds me of Sir Humphrey Appleby
  8. Votes sent. Top 2 songs really grew on me and were very difficult to rank. Next 9 songs are decent and I can listen to them from time to time. The last song to get points from me is the most interesting song in the sense that in some hearings I want to give high points to the song while other times I don't want to give any points to it. Apart from the 3 reserves that I have sent there are only a couple of more songs that I could complete without effort.
  9. I am in the final stages of deciding my vote. Will send it by tomorrow.
  10. And Srikanth reaches his 5th SS final of the year. After back to back wins in Indonesia and Australia in June, now Srikanth will be hoping to have back to back wins in Denmark and France in October.
  11. Yet another Superseries final for India in MS
  12. Same situation here. First time, no song from the contest would be going in my playlist this time.
  13. Wang Shixian retired after missing out on Rio Olympics. Sadly Totallympics never had a good amount of Badminton fans who discuss things. I am really happy with the way Srikanth is playing this year. 3 Superseries Titles in a year Also, this is his 5th career SS title putting him on joint 4th behind legends LCW (45), Lin Dan (21) and Chen Long (17)
  14. You can say this song has been an inspiration to me to continue taking part in these contests despite time constraints, low points in previous contests and being the only Indian participant.
  15. India Ladies and gentlemen, this time around the Indian jury has the honour of presenting a modern rendition of one of the all time classics of Indian music. "Ekla Chalo Re" was penned by Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore in 1905. Since its inception this song has inspired millions to continue his or her journey, despite lack of support from others. This song played a large role in Indian independence movement as well. There are numerous melodious renditions of this beautiful song. The rendition I have chosen is from 2012 and is sung by legendary actor Amitabh Bachhan. Apart from the modern touch in music provided by composers Vishal-Shekhar, the song is unique in the way it transitions seamlessly between Bangla (language in which original song was conceived), Hindi and English. Ekla Chalo Re (Walk Alone)
  16. I do want to take part and have a favourite for Indian entry but am not sure if I would have enough time to listen to all entries and vote. Will take the final decision once full schedule is released.
