  1. TISC Annual 2021 - Possible Extension to Period of Song Eligibility As the curtain comes down on the TISC action for 2020, eyes and ears will soon be turning to 2021 and the upcoming Annual edition. For the Annual edition, entries are generally restricted to songs released within the previous 12 months. However, due to the COVID pandemic, music output in general hasn't been as plentiful as other years. This in turn means it will likely be more difficult for national juries to find a song they are happy with to put forward to TISC Annual 2021. As such, I want to conduct a poll to determine if the participants want to allow a little bit more flexibility for this year as a once-off and extend the eligibility period beyond the standard 12-month rule. I am going to open the poll now and encourage everyone to have their say and if you think anything else needs to be discussed then please write your thoughts here in this thread. Users who have participated in a TISC edition are eligible to vote in this poll and the vote will remain open until 21:00 November, 30th 2020: Question 1: Due to COVID-19, should we extend the eligibility period for songs for TISC Annual 2021 as a once-off? (a) Yes, we should extend the eligibility period (b) No, it should remain the same Question 2: Currently, the eligibility period for the TISC Annual 2021 means that songs released after 1 January 2020 are eligible. If we extend the eligibility period for songs for TISC Annual 2021, how much of an extension should be offered? (Please answer this question even if you answered no to Question 1): (a) 3 month extension (song released after 1 October 2019 are eligible) (b) 6 month extension (songs released after 1 July 2019 are eligible) (c) 12 month extension (songs released after 1 January 2019 are eligible)
  2. Here you go 2015 Open 2015 Annual TISC Open 2014 (as part of the Serbian 7-member jury)
  3. I can find your 2015 votes also if you want them? Possibly also have your TISC Open 2014 somewhere too when you were part of a 7 member Serbian jury
  4. Hmm, I’m pretty sure you voted for A Labour Of Love in the TISC Annual 2020?
  5. “Serbia is the most generous nation with Spanish songs (27 points), followed by Italy (19), Ireland (16)“ Checks to see what Ireland received in return....
  6. True, and hopefully we will see plenty of music being released before then. I'll allow everyone to decide on it anyway.
  7. And that reminds me, probably next week, once the dust settles on this, we will have a little poll to see what we should do about the Annual. I understand that with COVID that it has probably meant there's a lot less music to choose from so it might be good to allow the rules to be a bit more flexible for the year that's in it.... possibly extending the period of time to choose from. But we'll talk about that next week in the Discussion Thread.
  8. What an epic contest, privileged to part of the drama right until the very end! Huge conrgratulations to Serbia for their first TISC victory, a dominant win by all means! Ireland salutes Irish Stew of Sindidun Congrats to Canada for their second medal of the year, a very impressive year for them with a gold and silver in both 2020 contests. And finally, so delighted for Malta on making it onto the TISC podium for the very first time. A great achievement for the tiny island nation who now has a shiny medal in their cabinet! It was great to be part of this historic moment also And finally, a big big big thank you to @heywoodu for all of his work in the last few weeks and for taking on the mantle of host. I have enjoyed every moment of this final, but throughout the whole edition, it has been a pleasure to be part of and thank you so much for your efforts! And now, you can take a breather and put your feet up for a well earned rest! Thanks to @dcro also for those entertaining interviews and for all the other little stats and things that just helps make TISC even more enjoyable. And as always, thank you to all who participated in the contest. I feel like we just keep getting stronger year after year, and it's great to see interest and enthusiasm is as high as ever. Just a final thank you to all who placed votes in the Irish basket, especially to @Vektor for giving me a very nice surprise with that 12 points! Enjoy the celebrations everyone!! Long live TISC
