  2. I don't mind the song, it's much better in Norwegian by the way. But the staging is too much, it makes it seem really cheesy. I was never a fan of Monument anyway. I think KEiiNO would have been the "right" choice for Norway in that they have a fandom across Europe that will vote for them and would have brought them a decent result. I just don't rate the song though.
  3. I did a quick re-listen of your last podcast to see what I could pick up on as “notheen” came to mind straight away . I just know you have a very clear accent and you pronounce most sounds really clearly. You pronounce the “s” sound very clearly at the beginning and at the end of words. Almost like a double “ss” if that makes sense. On the other hand you don’t stress vowel sounds too much. And one word I noticed a difference in how I pronounce the word was “digress”. You said it like dig as in to dig a hole, whereas I pronounce it as die But I “die-gress”. And that is my totally amateur take on your accent. You could have more fun analysing mine and trying to understand it

  8. Isn't there usually some kind of contest after Eurovision featuring the artists that came second in the national finals? Maybe organised by OGAE groups or something?
  9. Commiserations to our guy Gebrasy but what a wonderful performance from start to finish. He has many new fans now too from all over the world and hopefully this will inspire him to keep pursuing the dream
  10. So emotional afterwards.... you don't need to understand Lithuanian to know how much that meant to him
  11. Outstanding performance Gebrasy! Wow!!!!!

  14. Congratulations @Werloc on making it through to the final! . I missed the show tonight but it is very well deserved and not at all surprising. Enjoy these wonderful times and let plenty more come in future

  17. Welcome back @hckošice! Long time no see
  18. Yes, 2012 really was a golden era for the forum.... so many new users joining every week and many remaining active and interacting with each other throughout the forum.
  19. I loved that layout of the latest replies on the old forum..... very concise and only took up a small space on the screen while showing the latest 30 threads replied to.
  20. Yes, that's right. Poland missed the last 2 bidding processes (TISC Annual 2019, 2020) so they missed out on the extra ticket they had accumulated in the past, so they are back on a level playing field with Israel who are also bidding for the first time. @Olympian1010 as it stands you are the outsider again in terms of odds of winning, just like your previous 2 races but your odds are creeping a little higher each time TISC Annual 2020 bid: odds to win bid = 1/15 (6.67%) TISC Annual 2020 bid (re-run): odds to win bid = 1/7 (14.29%) TISC Annual 2021 bid: odds to win bid = 2/12 (16.67%)* *bid process still open @Dnl good to have you in the race
