  1. It was a good feeling to come back into the top 10 after a long streak of mediocre performances. It was also really fun to break the 100 point mark. If this song didn't succeed, I would probably question every single song choice into oblivion, because I was really starting to get lost whilst guessing what you would enjoy This makes it easier to send a song in Lithuanian for 2021, because I won't feel as bad if I can't repeat a top 10 and I have a really nice one ready for you, I just know that it's really a gamble not going for English every single time. Congratulations to the podium, @NikolaB probably won't understand what happened, nice streak for @intoronto and a memorable experience for @Glen Best wishes to everyone sharing the top 10 with me, a lot of the songs I really liked sneaked into it, so I'm pretty happy with the results overall. Expected a bit more love for Moldova, China, Great Britain, Brazil and Czech Republic, but I can't expect all of my favourites to make it to the top. Thank you to everyone that voted for Lithuania, huge shout out to @titicow for that gold from Brazil, it means a lot. Honorary shout out for @Bohemia since it was top in her list as well. I think there was also a medal from team Denmark and I appreaciate that one a lot as well and if I remember correctly, that was the only medals and a perfect 1-1-1 set. Another great contest and can't wait to hang out with you all in Canada.
  2. In all honesty, I don't know if I'm forgetting anyone special, but @Glen and @Wanderer seemed like the next two people that really deserved to get that sweet sweet first podium. They've been sending high quality music for years and I'm glad at least one of them made it in this contest. Hoping @Wanderer gets to experience the feeling too soon If I ran through all of my excels, I don't know if I'd find their songs out of my top 20s.
  3. Yuuup, I didn't need a quick search for that since I for some reason have Glen's voting tendencies in my brain, because I always expect something from Malta, but often just see points going to Ireland
  4. Maybe this success will attract more users and we'll have 10 members from India participating in the following year
  5. @OlympicIRL just confirmed that Poland won't get a medal in the next two votes.
  6. That's a shame. I'd highly suggest "Levitating", but the version without the useless DaBaby feature as well as "Break My Heart".
  7. Have you been on Totallympics at all? Dua Lipa can't do absolutely anything.
  8. If you want to calculate Canadian path to victory I can save you the time with these two words: Blinding Lights
  9. Okay, you're actually right, I checked. Don't know how in the hell you have access to this information, but you're slightly scaring me
  10. What would you think if Lithuania got 3 golds now and actually took the podium spot? Jk, we haven't got points from Greece probably ever
  11. For me personally it's not about energy, but the vocal style. I'm not a huge fan of the overuse of vibrato voice that's pretty popular in Eastern music. This is why this entry was already levels above compared to many previous entries from India. Still, pretty tough contest this year, ended up in 14th.
  12. Canada worried about first place, but they're on their way to tumble down to 4th
  13. OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Thank you @Ruslan for the 8 points!!!! Lithuania is over 100 points for the first time since 2017. I'm not washed up anymore
  14. I track all of the music I listen to on last.fm and the scrobbler would pick up all of my songs demos and put them up on the Internet Since I also work on other artists' songs, that shit would scrobble too if it was tagged properly, so I only listen to music on Spotify and local files are strictly for work nowadays.
  15. Nah, only those that scored points from me, but it really depends, sometimes I take the top 8, sometimes top 11, one year I added 16 songs With 15 contests, that's a lot of songs. Some of the artists don't upload to Spotify though, so I have lost some really cool songs. China this year is also not on Spotify for example, so it's my first medalist not on the playlist. Song About Love also not on Spotify, but I haven't added Lithuanian entries in there anyways.
  16. The biggest tragedy is that with this edition, my TISC playlist is going to be longer than the duration of the TISC show. I usually pause the music during the breaks and continue when voting continues.
