  1. I have absolutely no idea what place we would take on the medal table, but I think we have a good chance to win a gold medal in Modern Pentathlon by Laura Asadauskaitė, a gold medal or a silver from Rūta Meilutytė 100m. breaststroke, I expect 1 medal from canoeing sprint and possibly two from Rowing, we might have success in Saling with Gintarė Volungevičiūtė-Scheidt, whom is very successful in competitions that are held in RIO. Then there's also a chance in Boxing, Wrestling, because we have a history of doing well in these during the Olympics, a chance for a silver, bronze by Titenis in 100/200m. Breaststroke and with a help of a miracle possibly 1 in Athletics, 1 in Cycling-Track. Whatever turns out to be the case, I strongly believe these Olympics will be the most successful in Lithuanian history.
  2. I was really hoping Johannes would beat Martin and he did it Awesome.
  3. Well, I'm stating my opinion. I voted for three of the choises. Number 1: Results posted as before - I picked this choise for multiple reasons. Firstly, Totallympics was usually the only place where I could easily find results for some sports that our media does not cover (yes, even those that have Lithuanians taking part in it). Also, I know that the topics used to get flooded with heat results, but there are many sports where heat results are majorly important. Number 2: Medalists + Spoilers that reveal the full results. Even if the option 1 is not available, I still really want to be able to see the results. The spoiler function would help those members who don't want the threads to be covered with flags and I'm ok with that, just as long as I have the chance to find the results on the forum. Number 3: Medal tables should be posted at the end of the competition - I don't see a huge reason to post medal tables at the end of day, I think the medal table is important information only when the competition is actually over.
  4. Well, I'm a happy man as well, because even though Makarainen is one of my favourite biathletes of all time, I always support Germany, Italy, Sweden too. Add the fact that I really enjoy Soukalova, Eckhoff, Dorin-Habert, Boe Brothers during the winner interviews, I'd say I'm having the season of my life
  5. MAKARAINEN Yes! I'm so happy for her Brilliant World Championships for Marie Dorin-Habert and Laura Dahlmeier, huge congratulations to the both of them and I think they both deserve as much praise as Fourcade, because the women's tour this year is extremely competitive.
  6. Well, you never know with those sneaky meteors
  7. Yes, that was exactly what I was wondering about Stapušaitytė is doing quite well lately, so I thought that maybe she was getting closer. But as I presume, there used to be more athletes in Badminton in 2012/2008 Olympics? Because I remember her and Kęstutis were both qualified once.
  8. 1 Bronze already, I wonder how our other two throwers perform
  9. By the way, I'm not familiar with the qualification system. How many men and women qualify to RIO in the singles event?
  10. Yap, I was watching the livestream and when it was over I felt that I wasted my time, because it was not the best athlete who won, nature won this one. And I'm not only talking about the fact that after second shooting Laura was almost breathing on the backs of the leading three, the Chinese girl that was first went down to 7th, because her targets simply did not turn on for about 20 seconds...
  11. Well, Erica not making it to Eurovision saves me the time that I would have needed to research a song for TISC
  12. Erica Jennings would have been a better choise in my opinion. Though she got ruined by our national jury that messed up her performance with their horrible opinions...
  13. Indeed you were Wanna know who was not first? The person that had a better song
  14. A historical success for the Canadian men relay. Congratulations to them Good battle by Germany and Norway, but I'd say that Johannes was the MVP
  15. Lithuania 2016
  16. Rūta Meilutytė came back after an injury and not being able to fully train for half a year to win her first competition and recording the second best season result in the world in 100m. Breastroke
  17. There are so many wonderful songs this year, hard to pick favourites.
  18. I have the last contest's scoreboard screenshotted in my computer
  19. I'm very disappointed that there is no opportunity to put a - near your reputation score, because the only thing you've been doing thus far is spreading nothing but negativity in Totallympics for the past year and a half. Just in case you will try to turn this around me, I am a supporter of team Germany, Italy, Sweden, Finland and Austria, but I can appreciate what Norway, France achieve. (though Tiril and Marie both have a great personality and I'm also happy when they succeed). But the fact that you having absolutely no evidence what so ever, say that a good result by Norway or France is disgusting, is ridiculous, You have no physical proof and they haven't done ANYTHING to deserve being suspected more than your lovely country Germany, which as a powerhouse country and in the eyes of many they are in the same boat as France, Norway, Italy for example. So, until proven guilty, leave your claims to yourself, because it irritates the hell out of many people.
  20. Tomorrow it's the Lithuanian national final. Hopefully we send Erica Jennings or Donny Montell
  21. Countries that participated in all 5 editions of TISC that are yet to register: Countries that participated in 4 editions of TISC that are yet to register:
  22. The worry shifts to Canada, Germany, New Zealand and The Netherlands
  23. Also, in the badminton thread I saw members from Philippines, Indonesia, Japan and it would be amazing if they would join. We had a Norwegian in the biathlon thread as well. Since it is likely that we'll be losing some of the old countries, because not all of them have showed up at Totallympics just yet, it would be great to enroll some new ones
