    Our under 17 year olds beat the Puerto ricans 96-82 for 5 place today at the world championships,so hopefully that's a good sign for tonight.

    Sad for my Latvian brothers,and while last night was great,absolutely still a possibilty that we could join them,but we for sure shouldn't get stomped out like this.

    Nnot great conditions for the men's discus,also had a bit of rain but Mykolas Alekna returns to action with the most casual 69 meter[69.07] throw ever.it was done in round one,he also did 68.80 in round 5,this was after some rain.Denny as has become so commen this season finishes in second behind him,this time much closer than usual with 68.17,though that was the only longer throw he had,he also had two 65 plus throws.

    15 YEAR OLD TAJUS JUŠKA IS OUT OF THIS WORLD,WINS THE 100 METER FREESTYLE OUT FROM LANE 1 . Pb is now 48.74 down from 49.55 in the semifinals AND THIS IS THE NEW NATIONAL LITHUANIAN RECORD IN THIS EVENT .

    the technical fouls were wild,but we did 3 against ivory coast in the last quarter.i do have to say,it's good that our coaches most angry will be just him standing there with a red face.It's looking great so far and our commentator for the match is feeling cocky,but there are still 20 minutes to go,not gonna count the chickens before they hatch.
