the example i read was 2001 world championships where the Australian women's relay team got dq because they all jumped into the pool right after winning as other teams were still racing, which sounds like a different thing,not to mention way more of an impact,and way more disruptive to a race,so i get the dq in that case.

Your mistake is thinking that i give one crap about the Tv networks,i don't,Yeah football will always be more popular,whoop de doo.What is the point of competitions after the world championships ? most of the big names are done after those,this makes perfect sense as the clear season finale. I don't know what sports you want me to look at,since i don't exactly follow many. Last discus update for a few days i think because most of the relevant winter throwing championships have passed now. Melina- freaking Robert- Michon at age 44 opens another season up with 61.02,sixth on this years throw list at the moment.

Meanwhile for the men at the meet Daniel Jasisnki threw 64.39 for his first attempt and Clemens Prufer[now examiner] threw his third ever best competition throw to win the whole comp with 65.45 on his fourth attempt.
