    I didn't say they shouldn't have opinions. I say I don't get it. It goes against the basic principle of competition that is the nature of sport. But to each his own.

    Ukrainians aside, I just don't get why athletes want fellow athletes banned. I'd go Andy Murray style and say whatever the outcome is fine as I get both sides, but to ask publicly for a ban of a rival just because of its nationality in a war that doesn't even concern your own nation directly...

    Ha, I get it. I've been following her since before Tokyo and she is the real deal. The closest to Phelps in womens's swimming I've ever seen. But still, we have to wait to see how she manages bigger schedules and it seems to me she is smart enough to choose wisely and not get burned in the process. Also, right now her only sure gold medal event is the 400 IM, she has to battle the likes of Titmus, Ledecky, Haughey and Molly in freestyle, Yufei in the 200 FL and the americans in the 200 IM, so any extra rest she can get will be better.

    Everyone assumes Summer will go Phelps style and swim a ton of events, but she's been pretty conservative so far. I don't see her swimming more than 4 individual races + 2 relays at major meets. At Paris, I think she'll drop the 200 FR.

    Zhang Yufei vs. Summer McIntosh in the 200 FL will be one the most interesting duels in Fukuoka.

    Boring ending of an entertaining match. The holding was clear, but didn't change the outcome of the play. Those flags are terrible for the sport. The last play was comical, though. Happy for Mahomes, he is the best QB by far and has GOAT material. It won't be easy to catch Brady's 7 rings because this is a team sport, dinasties come and go and Andy Reid could retire any moment. But individually he surely can.

    Lol so what changed in a year? The war is still the same. So much hipocrisy. And I'm against the ban (or any ban of athletes due to a political decision of their governments), but if the majority of the world supports it, make it a clear blanket ban and keep it till the end.

    Gauff is young, but she and her team need to acknowledge that with tha FH she'll never beat the top in form players. They all know that is her weakness. Time is on her side, though. With Iga out I wonder who can take the title. It seems the best chance for someone like Pegula or the winner of Sabalenka-Bencic, unless Rybakina keep this form. The men's side should be Novak against Tsitsipas if Nole's leg holds till the end.

    Ha, maybe. The contract makes it almost impossible for Rodgers to be traded next season and I think the Packers are in a better position to be contenders than the Raiders, but we'll see.
