  1. Thank you for the correction. Don’t know how I’ve missed those team changes. Excited to see what they can do in the upcoming Olympic qualification cycle.

  7. Valerie Grenier wins giant slalom gold in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Her first career World Cup medal. She finished in a combined two run time of 1:55.01, snapping Mikaela Shiffrins five race win streak (She finished 6th). Italian Martina Bassino (1:55.38) won the silver medal, while Pétra Vlohova (1:55.41) won the bronze medal to complete the podium.
  8. 2023 Canadian Track Cycling Championships | Milton, Ontario: January 6-8, 2023: Day 1 Results- Women’s 500m Time Trial Final: Gold- Kelsey Mitchell, Silver- Lauriane Genest, Bronze- Sarah Orban Men’s Kilo Time Trial Final: Gold- James Hedgcock (The name?? ), Silver- Ryan Dodyk, Bronze- Dylan Bibic Women’s Scratch Race Final: Gold- Ariane Bonhomme, Silver- Erin Attwell, Bronze- Kiara Lylyk Men’s Scrach Race Final: Gold- Dylan Bibic, Silver- Mathias Guillemette, Bronze- Michael Foley In the team sprint events, there are only two teams competing in each of the men’s/women’s team sprint finals. Women’s Team Sprint Final: Gold- Emy Savard, Jackie Boyle, Sarah Orban, Silver- Kelsey Mitchell, Erin Watchman, Ericka Rieder Men’s Team Sprint Final: Gold- Tyler Rorke, Nick Wammes, James Hedgcock, Silver- Alex Brugger, Ryan MacDonald, Dustin Brooks Full Results Here
  9. Here are my predictions Swimming: Women’s 100m Butterfly: Gold- Maggie MacNeil , Silver- Torri Huske , Bronze- Emma McKeon / Sarah Sjoestrom Swimming: Men’s 400m Individual Medley: Gold- Leon Marchand , Silver- Carston Foster , Bronze- Daiya Seto Changed my mind actually ignore my vote on poll. Gold- Adam Peaty , Silver- Nicolo Martinenghi , Bronze- Nic Fink (Sorry Michael Andrew. Still one of my favorite swimmers.)
  10. Anyone know where I can find a link to stream the King Of The Court Finals event in Doha Qatar? I live in Canada. Edit: Think it’s on Youtube
  11. I mean you’re not wrong. I’m not saying it won’t be close, but in the last few years Maggie has won gold at the 2021 & 2022 short course world championships, while also winning gold at the 2019 long course world championships (Chose not to defend her title in 2022), all while being the reining Olympic champion.
  12. I seemed to have missed the poll, so let me do my predictions down below: Women’s Judo -48kg: Gold- Natsumi Tsunoda , Silver- Assunta Scutto , Bronze- Shirine Boulki , Bronze- Julia Figueroa Men’s Judo -60kg: Gold- Naohisa Takato , Silver- Yeldos Smetov , Bronze- Yang Yung Wei , Bronze- Giorgi Sardalashvili Men’s Fencing Sabre Individual: Gold- Aron Szilagyi , Silver- Maxine Pianfetti , Bronze- Luigi Samele Women’s Fencing Epeé Individual: Gold- Rossella Fiamingo , Silver- Katrina Lehis , Bronze- Marie-Florence Candassamy (Another Hungary/Italy/France fencing podium, how unrealistic ) Probably would have Choi In-Jeong/Song Se-ra in the mix as well. Men’s Street Skateboarding: Gold-Nyjah Houston , Silver- Gustavo Ribeiro , Bronze- Kelvin Hoefler
  13. 5. Remove Swimming- Women’s 400m Freestyle, and change it with Swimming- Women’s 100m Butterfly. MacNeil’s dominance the past few years in this event (Whether short/long course), has really changed my opinion.
  14. 2023 World Aquatic Championships, 2023 World Athletics Championships, 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, 2023 Beach Volleyball World Championships, 2023 Judo World Championships
  15. Kingsbury 29th, I’m shocked.
  16. First Paralympic quotas have been awarded in Goalball! Gold and silver medalists at the 2022 World Goalball Championships book their NOC a ticket to the 2024 Paralympics. Women’s Tournament: South Korea and Turkey earn 2024 Paralympics quotas Men’s Tournament: Brazil and China earn 2024 Paralympics quotas
  17. HSBC BWF World Tour Finals- Bangkok, Thailand Reining Olympic Champion Demark’s Viktor Axelsen defeats Japan’s Koidai Naraoka 2-0 (21-5, 21-15), to secure himself a spot in the semi-finals. He previously defeated China’s Lu Guangzu 2-0 (21-13, 21-11) Edit: He’s also the reining BWF World Tour Finals Champion, and reining BWF World Champion.
  18. FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup: Ski Cross- Val Thorens, France Men’s Ski Cross: Men’s Big Final 1. Johannes Rohrweck 2. Tobias Mueller 3. Jonas Lenherr 4. Dominik Zuech Men’s Small Final 5. Ryo Sugai 6. David Mobaerg 7. Bastien Midol 8. Mathias Graff Full Final Result HERE Women’s Ski Cross: Women’s Big Final 1. Sandra Naslund (One win away from beating Fanny Smith for most World Cup wins in women’s ski cross) 2. Marielle Thompson 3. Talina Gaitenbien 4. Fanny Smith Women’s Small Final 5. Hannah Schmidt 6. Daniela Maier 7. Andrea Limbacher 8. Sonja Gigler DNS Full Final Result HERE
  19. Or maybe Samoilova/Graudina in Beach Volleyball, or Latvian Men’s 3X3 Team
  20. 2) At the moment Guo is not a bigger medal contender than Harvey, Guo is 10th in the World Rankings, Harvey is 3rd. 3) You’re absolutely right, I’m just worried about how Mayer will do. 4) Why the hell would the US not send their best men’s basketball team? And before Canada, I would put both France, and Australia above them in odds, maybe even Spain as they didn’t even qualify for the Olympics last year, with a squad full of NBA talent.
  21. Swimming- Women’s 200m Breastroke (Tatjana Schoenmaker)
  22. Grondin takes home bronze at the first snowboard cross World Cup stop of the season, in France.
  23. For I would say: 1. Swimming- Women’s 400IM (Summer McIntosh) 2. Breaking- BBoys (Phil Wizard) 3. Basketball- Women’s 3X3 4. Boxing- Tammara Thibeault (75kg) 5. Swimming- Women’s 400m Freestyle (Summer McIntosh) Eleanor Harvey is another one of the gold medal contenders, but with Lee Kiefer and Alice Volpi contending, not too sure she’s as big of a favorite as them. Edit: Men’s Decathlon is a special mention, with LePage just winning silver at this years World Athletics Championship, but then of course we also have the 2020 Olympic Champion Damian Warner. I’m just wondering since he was injured how will he recover from it, and so that is why I’m predicting Kevin Mayer to win gold. Plus, home crowd helps.
