  1. Stuttgart 500 QF line-up: Iga Świątek vs Karolina Pliskova Caroline Garcia vs Anastasia Potapova Ons Jabeur vs Beatriz Haddad Maia Aryna Sabalenka vs Paula Badosa
  2. It seems like the axe has officially dropped on A's moving to Las Vegas? The same old trick worked, sell out every viable asset, play some horrible baseball and blame the fans who don't show up to watch this crap for not showing up as reason of moving to another city. All in all, Oakland has totally expired with the modern major US sports, even Warriors are in San Francisco now? Meanwhile Arizona Diamondbacks have finally seen enough of the Madison Bumgarner shitshow and DFA his ex-MVP ass. About time. He was downright terrible since the second half of 2022 to say the very least. Due to Dodgers bullpen sucking above means so far Arizona is somehow leading the NL West right now so they might have a feel good story available if not for Bumgarner's every start being a potential loss by default.
  3. Joe Perry led 7-2 vs Robert Milkins and lost 9-10 in some very ugly snooker collapse
  4. Belinda Bencic has withdrawn from Rome & Madrid 1000 tournaments with a hip injury
  5. First big upset in R1 - Anthony McGill beats Judd Trump 10-6. McGill was always one of the more tricky unseeded players and you could argue he was actually unlucky to draw Trump from the seeds.
  6. Kyren Wilson made a 147 break in R1 vs Ryan Day and leads 6-3 after the first session.
  7. Jelena Ostapenko trashes Emma Raducanu 6-2 6-1. It's clear Raducanu shouldn't be nowhere near such a stacked field but accepted WC as Porsche brand ambassador only to get eaten alive by Ostapenko who won 16 points in a row at one stage Karolina Pliskova didn't waste time to dispatch Maria Sakkari 6-2 6-3 either.
  8. Meta Hrovat's retirement is over https://demokracija.si/sport/zanimiv-preobrat-meta-hrovat-se-vraca-v-tekmovalno-smucanje-spremembe-tudi-pri-trenerjih/
  9. Biden is a complete senile fool but good luck on him putting that ban on international sports scene. Thankfully US government isn't that powerful to ride the transgender nonsense everywhere in the world.
  10. The highly stacked indoor clay Stuttgart 500 has kicked off. Wins for Donna Vekic, Beatriz Haddad Maia and Paula Badosa in R1 so far.
  11. Two hours and it's done. Hossein Vafaei wins 10-6! His first win at The Crucible after a complete dominance today. R2 vs Ronnie O'Sullivan should be very interesting
  12. Vafaei wins the first three frames of session two and takes the lead 7-5. Almost a must-win frame for Ding before the intermission.
  13. Luca Brecel beat Ricky Walden 10-9 in the first deciding frame match of the champs. Ding Junhui leads Hossein Vafaei 5-4 after the first session, the second will start in two hours (I assume it's for the Asian market time zone?).
  14. @DragonYeah, it's obvious leftover from the COTA race where Button drove this car but I have no idea how those TV graphics are stored for broadcast purpose. I reckon different people work on different races especially in such a multi-round series like NASCAR but obviously there's the question does any "supervisor" actually read what is about to be shown on the TV screen?
  15. I noticed that part and I was looking for an answer which @phelpsprovided. I don't have knowledge if U-21 defenders have historically being brought up to NHL or toiled around in farm systems like AHL. I checked if Paul Coffey was playing in AHL and he didn't as he was in NHL in age 19 season already hence my original assumption
  16. How many games they play in AHL if 34 points is a record that stood almost 50 years? Unless all the good defencemen skipped playing full-time down there?
  17. FOX with the alternate universe version where JJ Yeley was the Formula 1 world champion
  18. How long it takes before everyone in England realize that Frank Lampard isn't a good manager and should just sit in TV studio at best? Three matches and three losses since he rejoined Chelsea. Can't believe someone will still give him a EPL job after this nonsense that only appears to be heading one way...
  19. Trevisan & Cocciaretto win 7-5 in the deciding set of the doubles. Slovakia were very close to pull off the upset (probably only because Giorgi didn't play today due to some knee issue).
  20. not dead in the water yet after Cocciaretto lost in relief to Hruncakova (Kuzmova). Giorgi & Trevisan won on Day 1 but the second line-up couldn't get one singles win so it goes to the doubles.
  21. Yeah, China is back like expected. Nobody was willing to replace their money, least of all those human rights loving democratic countries from the Western hemisphere. Talk is cheap but money talks louder in the end "Majority of players" support the return according to WTA CEO Steve Simon. You bet they are! https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/65260468
  22. Rays are 13-0 so tied Braves '82 and Brewers '87 best start of the season ever. Tomorrow they head off to Toronto which is struggling to put away the Tigers in the afternoon game right now
  23. WRC rally driver Craig Breen died in a testing crash ahead of Rally Croatia today
  24. Mariners pitching sucks this season so far. They led 8-0 after three innings but Cubs won 14-9. Meanwhile Rays beat Red Sox again and are 11-0 on the season
  25. Manchester City beat Bayern Munich 3-0. I mean Bayern's dominance of Bundesliga becomes even more worthless given how they started to lose ground on the European scale in the last few years.
