  1. In the meantime I would like to use the 50:50 to maybe help also my expert if he appears.
  2. I have literally no clue . I will try to call my expert @Olympian1010for help. Maybe he has some sort of clue.
  3. This one I know for sure (he says and get it wrong XD). But I'm fairy sure it's Olympique de Marseille as I have spend much time scrolling through results from the European Cup, and later Champions League, when I was younger. I loved to search for results and I remember a photo where the text stated something with Olympique de Marseille won the first edition of Champions League in the 1992-93 season. I go with A.
  4. I'm leaning between Australian Open or French Open. I don't remember exactly if the Open Era was already introduced during Australian Open (of course not called that before the Open Era started). I would like to save a lifeline for later, so I'm taking a guess and going to say that French Open was the first, as I think the Open Era was first officially introduced later during the season. B: French Open, is my answer.
  5. Yes, I would like to use switch.
  6. Let's give him that.
  7. Okay, here I'm blank. Maybe @Olympian1010 could help me here (if he's here?) If here is not here, I will use the switch. But let's hear if he is here now.
  8. I know the incident happened at the 1984 SOG in Los Angeles, so I know it's not Tetyana Samolenko, USSR. I think Paula Ivan came later and Doina Melinte doesn't pop up as a name I remember. I will take a little risk and say C. Maricica Puica. I hope to save my lifelines for later.
  9. Unfortunately it is D. Alexander Dale Oen who was a great breaststroker. He sadly left this world way too early.
  10. As a NBA fan I know it's D: Basketball. Happened between Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons. With a certain famous Ron Artest, who later changed his name to Metta World Peace , involved very much in the brawling that happened that night.
  11. The answer is C: Japan. China and Finland have one team each (Kunlun and Jokerit) and Russia has a bunch of teams. However no Japanese teams/clubs.
  12. I'm not an avid rugby fan, but I remember from my younger days when checking results on Eurosports' website, I saw Italy popping up amongst nations in the Six Nations Championship. So my answer is A: Italy.
  13. B: Emil Zatopek, the "Czech locomotive", one of the greatest czech athletes ever.
  14. B: Greece Verona. Hellas Verona.
  15. I was about to make myself an embarrasment. That was too close for my taste. Phew...
  16. Sorry, I know understand the question. I had to read it more throughly. I think it's Ice hockey, as a player here is often is called a hockey player. A is my answer.
  17. B: Alpine skiing
  18. D, Spain 12.
  19. Haha, I like the creativity options for the question. But with not a shread of doubt, I choose D, Phelps. Michael Phelps.
  20. I choose 3.
  21. I'm ready.
  22. 8 pm CET is fine with me.
  23. @Quasit I'm up for going in the hot seat tonight.
  24. I'm so sorry, I somehow forgot to tag you and cobi in my post. When you receive points from many juries and forget some. Damn, embarrasing.
  25. Thank you very much for all the votes and points the Danish entry received. I'm very happy the entry received loads of points and a very satisfying 4th-place overall. It fully lived up to the expectations, and even being in the contention for a medal and podium, was fantastic. @Vic Liu, @heywoodu, @Cinnamon Bun, @uk12points , @Wanderer, @Illya, @Federer91, @dcro, @Glen, @Werloc, @intoronto, @Ionoutz24, @rybak, @OlympicIRL, @Benolympique, @Bohemia, @EupenM, @NikolaB, @Hipooo, @mrv86, @dezbee2008, @Olympian1010, @Ruslan, @hckošice, @Cobi Special thank you to @konig and @Vektor for giving the entry 12 points. Lastly thank you to the host @Dnl for making this contest possible despite having to juggle between work and this contest. It is not easy to handle both at the same time. I know how much work that has to be put into hosting a TISC. I know you did your best and you can be proud that you made it.
