Now I'm not a shooting expert, but does Al-Rashidi happen to be somewhat of a crowd favourite normally? It definitely seemed like it and he seems like such a nice guy

Well, most of the spectators seem to be shooters so I guess he is popular among them

I guess the Kuwaiti who won gold had a bit of mixed feelings when the Olympic hymne was played...

 

At least I'm happy there even is the opportunity to compete as neutral athletes, it's better than nothing. And let's really not blame the IOC for the Kuwaiti government f*cking up the chances of having the Kuwaiti anthem played.
