Women's high jump at Lausanne DL started about an hour ago. Olyslagers  and Geraschenko  both up and over 2.00 on their first attempt. Mahuchikh  passing at 2.00 after failing to clear it on her first attempt, with the bar now raised to 2.02.

Olyslagers clears 2.02 (=AR which she set on route to winning silver at Tokyo 2020) on her second attempt

Gerashchenko with a 2.00 for second, and Mahuchikh with a 1.97 for third.

 

Olyslagers asks for the bar to go up to 2.05 but is unsuccessful on all three of her attempts.

Great HJ competiton, although was expecting more from Mahuchikh (By her high standards, she probably was too).

Olyslagers right back to writing in her notebook after a 2.00 clearance , as she does every attempt, good or bad.
