In a very anticlimactic finish to this tournament, Israel is guaranteed a spot in the Olympics as long as they beat either  or  this week-end.

 

Does anyone know when was the last time that Israel qualified in a team sport?

Ya, just checked, this would be only the fourth time Israel has ever qualified in a team sport (they participated once in basketball and twice in football).
