It's because in the Individual Rankings, I am marking only the athletes until the last currently qualified fencer. In that case it's Sato , in the 31th position. The fist  fencer is in the 32th. If she overtakes the japanese, I will mark her too

and in case, they have 8 Host Country quota places to fill all the blanks (they can use them as they want)

Good chance for teams in women’s foil, men’s foil, and men’s sabre for Canada. Unfortunately the one team I actually want to qualify (men’s epee) has to rely on Venezuela placing within the top four, and frankly I don’t see that happening
