I would understand if there were 60-70 competitors, but with 53 it's just silly. Or if there would only be 40 spots to qualify, but it's still 50, so these are useless. Vektor 3,195 Posted February 5, 2022 #80 Share Posted February 5, 2022 I get the idea behind why the normal hill event exists, but this is the one competition with a long history that I would remove from the Games. It just seems so pointless, this isn't "real" ski jumping, the sport has moved past this a long time ago. They should have dropped it when the women's event was added, that way the sport would have one male and one female individual event, equality achieved.
