But why this happens so many times with some many competitors? It's an error by the organizers or the iranians who submit the names?

But I don't think that was the problem here. I seriously think that they thought they would qualify even sending a subpar team (exactly like they did with the women's team). But even Argentina and Brazil young teams are better than the one they sent.

Mexico won the 5th place match, which means that either Canada or USA won't qualify for Lima.

Volleyball will have a big coverage for sure, Peru loves this sport. On the other hand, I remember Handball wasn't broadcast in Toronto (except for the argentine channel), and I fear the same next year, even though this is a qualification event for Tokyo.

Semifinals: vs vs All 4 are qualified to the 2019 Pan American Games. Canada and Mexico will fight for the last spot here.

Same with Brazil. Our senior women's team is very good, but I don't even know if we have an active youth team - even the qualification was achieved by the senior team, which is really strange but just shows the lack of competitions for youth teams in women's futsal. It's a little mind boggling that FIFA doesn't really shows many interest in women's futsal, but hopefully that is changing.

I think many teams are here with youth or B/C teams? I don't see the point of hosting this right before the World Championship, it should be much earlier like the women's tournament.
