Nora Jenčušová absolvuje pod piatimi kruhmi aj časovku Slovenská cyklistka Nora Jenčušová absolvuje na OH v Paríži okrem cestných pretekov aj časovku jednotlivcov. V disciplíne bude môcť štartovať na základe relokácie miesteniek. V stredu o tom informoval v tlačovej správe Slovenský zväz cyklistiky (SZC). Na základe relokácie miesteniek pre časovku jednotlivcov sa do zoznamu dostalo aj Slovensko. Časovku pritom môže absolvovať iba športovec, ktorý súťaží na OH 2024 aj v cestných pretekoch. V nich mala Jenčušová už dávnejšie istý štart, keď splnila nominačné kritériá SZC. V individuálnej časovke sa predstaví celkovo 35 žien z 26 krajín sveta. Relokácia miesteniek prebieha na základe poradia v renkingu Medzinárodnej cyklistickej únie (UCI). Jenčušová sa tak v Paríži predstaví aj v svojej silnej disciplíne. V časovke jednotlivcov obsadila vlani na MS v Glasgowe šieste miesto v kategórii do 23 rokov. Do Paríža napokon šesť atlétov, vo výprave SR je 28 športovcov. Štafetu pôjde s Burzalovou Úradník Na olympijské hry do Paríža pocestuje šesť slovenských atlétov. Viktória Forster a Gabriela Gajanová sa kvalifikovali na základe splnenia limitov, chodci Mária Katerinka Czaková, Hana Burzalová a Dominik Černý podľa svetového rebríčka a Miroslav Úradník je momentálne nominovaný spolu s Burzalovou do štafety chodcov. Slovenský olympijský a športový výbor na základe nominácie Slovenského atletického zväzu potvrdil štarty Viktórie Forster na 100 m i na 100 m prekážok, Gabriely Gajanovej na 800 m. V pretekoch v chôdzi na 20 km sa predstavia Mária Katerinka Czaková, Hana Burzalová a Dominik Černý. V nominácii na miešanú chodeckú štafetu na maratónskej trati sú momentálne Hana Burzalová s Miroslavom Úradníkom a ako náhradníci sú uvedení Mária Katerinka Czaková a Dominik Černý. No idea who rejected quota, but our Nora Jenčušová have just been invited via reallocation also to the W Time Trial, She was originally qualified only for the Road Race, but earlier this morning we received a reallocation for her since she will be already in Paris to start also in the ITT on Saturday 27th. 28 Athletes (14 M + 14 W, yep, I know one Fencing 1976 Olympic Champion who will be very proud of us...) 28 Athletes in 13 Sports (in 31 Events). Skateboarding the only debuting sport, Judo and Sailing are returning after long absence (12 and 16 years), In other hand first time ever as Slovakia, we will not compete in Canoeing Sprint and Artistic Gymnastics. 13 Debutants in the Team, 7 will experience their 2nd Olympics, 4 will participate at their 3rd Olympic Games, 3 athletes at their 4th Olympics and 1 athlete (Skeet Shooter and our sole IOC member (btw, fun fact: She will be the sole IOC member competing in Paris) Danka Barteková will attend as an Athlete her 5th consecutive Olympics.) 8 Athletes will be Double-starters in Paris and compete in 2 events, the remaining 20 in only 1 event. Interesting also to note 2 naturalized athletes and 5 from my city Košice born athletes are in the team. Also 4 Former Olympic medalists made the Team, The Oldest Athlete is also our only reigning Olympic champion from Tokyo, the Trap Shooter Zuzana Rehák-Štefečeková (40 years old) and the youngest and also the sole teenager in the team is the Canoe Slalom paddler Zuzana Paňková (19 years old)
