  4. Also they predict to in Canoe Slalom M K1 only a bronze (and even for Vit Prindis, who will not be there at all) Not sure the predictors heard by any chance the name of Jiří Prskavec though, but if not, then they will certainly learn it in Paris when he´ll receive the gold
  5. 2 medals via Gracenote "experts" ? Okay. I´m for. Where can I sign ? Even if Tajmuraz winning silver would be a bit frustrating though... I mean a medal here would be fantastic, oh my god ! That´s all I wish for christmas, but if he have to make the gold medal match like they predict, then I genuinly hope he´ll not lost it

  14. kindergarden strikes first. Lamine Yamal serving Nico Williams. 1-0
  15. Final Time ! Let see in which stoppage Time minute will England tie the game tonight
  16. her 2nd GS title this year after Australian Open. If she was from USA or another important country I guess there would be maybe also some words or two or who knows maybe even already a super-BBCstyle-hype in the world medias growing more and more, but, since it is Slovakia surely nobody even care more than we two with our 5 sentences in this thread.
  17. Pogačar trying to put half of the peloton eliminated by outside of time limit here
  18. Yeah, just by this you see how disastrous this qualifiers were for Slovakia. Absolutelly awful. Complete disaster Obviously Canoeing Sprint (Fiasco with 0 quotas) and too much optimism in Athletics (expected 10 we qualified 6) + in many cases too close failures Table Tennis, Triathlon, Artistic Gymnastics did not help neither. Also Expected more in Wrestling and Tennis. All in all, how much wrong and too optimistic I was. Clearly I too much overestimated my folks ... not going to do the same error anymore.

  21. Nothing super extra can be felt yet, the very bad qualifications which ended several famous and popular athletes in the country missing the games (especially the likes of Volko or canoe sprint K4 squad) have a huge impact on the small interest for now... people intead already discussing and focusing on september´s Milano/Cortina Ice Hockey qualifier. But, I guess, the hype will slowly increase the games will be closer, because for now I feel like I am the only one person in the country aside of the NOC staff who is fully on Paris mode
  22. Yep, I know, anyway, same can be said about the majority of her opponents, She definitely will not be among the favorites, but, hey just qualifying for the first time ever in W Boxing is already a great and historic achievement by itself for her and us.
  23. Team Slovakia 1 Athlete (0 M + 1 W) 1 Event (0 M + 1 W + 0 X) WOMEN'S Welterweight -66kg: Jessica Triebeľová Jessica Triebeľová 23 years old, 1st Olympics (W Welterweight -66kg) Team Staff Peter Triebeľ (Team Leader) Pavol Hlavačka (Boxing NT Head Coach) Anton Cherednychenko (Coach) Lenka Bernardová (Sparring Partner) Monika Langerová (Sparring Partner)
  24. Yes, she and Lenka Gymerská are the two most known names in this category in our athletics and prospected as solid talents in last 2-3 years. No surprise they made them the "poster girls" for the champs. I was aware Frličková hold currently the best time in 100H, but that is still only on paper, let see how she will do actually on the track
