Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026: nota stampa Il 24 Ottobre si è svolta a Milano la riunione informale tra tutti i membri che costituiscono la compagine societaria della Fondazione. È stata l’occasione per un’articolata discussione sul tema della realizzazione dello Sliding Center. I rappresentanti della Fondazione, in accordo con il Ministro Abodi, hanno illustrato lo stato dell’arte relativo alle due opzioni domestiche (Cortina d’Ampezzo e Cesana Torinese) e alle interlocuzioni che il Comitato Organizzatore ha avuto con il CIO nella recente trasferta di Mumbai in occasione della 141ª edizione dell’International Session. Un ampio e sincero confronto volto alla condivisione di tutte le tematiche e all’avvio di un percorso di approfondimento che si completerà nei tempi già condivisi con il CIO.

Consegnato il dossier per la pista a Cesana 23 Ottobre È stato presentato al Governo e al Coni il dossier per la riqualificazione della pista di bob a Cesana in vista delle prossime Olimpiadi invernali di Milano-Cortina 2026. Il progetto, come riportato dall’ANSA, è stato illustrato dal sindaco metropolitana Stefano Lo Russo, dal presidente della Regione Alberto Cirio e dal presidente della Fondazione 20 Marzo Francesco Avato. Importante è soprattutto la questione economica: i costi previsti infatti sono di 33,8 milioni, di cui 28,5 per i lavori sull’impianto. Un risparmio del 60% rispetto a quello previsto a Cortina: la spesa prevista era infatti di oltre 80 milioni di euro. L’obiettivo è realizzare il progetto in 90 giorni e terminare i lavori in un anno, dunque nei tempi previsti dal CIO. Ovviamente la pista sarà fondamentale per gli sport invernali italiani, non avendo altri catini nel Bel Paese.

Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv to play its EuroLeague home games in Belgrade (Serbia) In a meeting held in Istanbul, Turkiye, on October 24, the Euroleague Commercial Assets' shareholders have agreed that Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv will play all of its upcoming home games at Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Serbia's capital, Belgrade. Maccabi will play its first home game there against FC Bayern Munich on November 9. Maccabi's Round 6 meeting with Real Madrid, which was originally scheduled for November 2, is suspended and will be played at a later date. This decision has been taken considering the impossible nature of hosting games in Tel Aviv due to security concerns derived from the ongoing armed conflict in the area. Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv has received the support of the Belgrade Municipality and the Serbian Government and will engage in conversations to plan the necessary security measures that protect the integrity of all individuals, which remains the ultimate priority for Euroleague Basketball and its clubs. Said security measures will be presented to the Euroleague Basketball office and the rest of the teams for review. UEFA update on upcoming fixtures involving teams from Israel UEFA Europa League Villarreal CF vs Maccabi Haifa (Group F – Thursday 26 October) has been postponed to Wednesday 6 December 2023. UEFA Europa Conference League Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Zorya Luhansk (Group B – Thursday 26 October) has been postponed to Saturday 25 November 2023. UEFA Youth League Due to the current situation, Maccabi Haifa Youth team has withdrawn its participation from the domestic champions path of this season's UEFA Youth League. UEFA has taken note and confirmed that AC Sparta Praha Youth team is therefore qualified to the Round 2 of the domestic champions path.
