Finally got around to seeing Another Round, the Danish movie seen as the front runner for the best International Feature at the Oscars. Would say that it's pretty much as good as The Hunt from 2012 which is the latest collaboration between Thomas Vinterberg and Mads Mikkelsen and once again Mikkelsen shows what a great actor he can be. It's not without reason that he's even mentioned as an outsider for a nominee for best actor (though that will also very much be a question of campaigning)

Seems like most EU countries will not be using AstraZeneca for the 65+ meaning that other groups of people (especially in health care) could be getting the vaccine faster while older people will keep on waiting. Meanwhile EMA has started a rolling review of the NOVAVAX vaccine meaning that it could be getting closer to approval though it's a different process. Johnson & Johnson has been under rolling review since december and are yet to file (though it's hopefully coming this month). In Denmark the plan for finishing the vaccines has been moved a week meaning that everybody's expected to get it by the start of july.

Unusually unpolitical though a few changes could be made.

As expected EMA has now recommended approval of AstraZeneca. This could mean that it will start rolling out next week, though at a smaller rate than hoped. Meanwhile Novavax and Johnson&Johnson have announced their test results. Hopes are that Johnson & Johnson will seek approval in february. Novavax is more unclear as EU are yet to make a deal with them, though negotiations have been going on. A 3rd vaccine that could end up in EU is the Russian Sputnik V who do have ongoing talks with EMA and could also file for approval in february. They've already been approved by Hungary and state that they could be able to send 100 million doses to EU in the 2nd quarter of the year.
