The Pioneers win the 10th national title in program history behind a 35-save shutout from goalie Matt Davis. Two quick second period goals was all the offense Davis and the Pioneers needed, as he made impressive save after impressive save to keep the talent-laden Boston College offense quiet. Jared Wright scored the first goal of the game around the midway point of the second period, then Rieger Lorenz followed with a brilliant goal of his own just 5:34 seconds later. Game Highlights

just asking myself why in this competition are there people that already achieved the qualification (and therefore can't get any other quota place) and/or why tare there those mixed team events that don't award any quota place? nor those events award points for the OQR/WR, therefore are absolutely useless for those who are not in the hunt for a quota place and actually only make a lot of confusion
