  1. I'm surprised how empty are the stands in our game. Guess all polish fans are waiting for their first match tonight.
  2. He got a last minute injury, just before the start.

  4. No medal for us again.. I have a bad feeling, that we would be without one, in these Worlds.
  5. Don't lie to the guy now, that would be Aleksandr Karelin
  6. I don't know if we are thinking about the same thing, but i also remember, when i was little, an eclipse that turned a sunny day into black night in an instant. Too bad i was too little to appriciate the phenomenon.
  7. Konstantinov announced our roster today. Only 2 changes from the League, one of which is the return of captain Todor Aleksiev, though for me, it is going to be largely for support and experience, rather than form. We have all the current best available, so going for a medal should be the goal, but i think it is time that a final is reached, no matter how hard it may seem. We lost the golden chance 2 years ago, so it is time for a correction! Setters -> Georgi Bratoev, Georgi Seganov Receivers -> Todor Skrimov, Todor Aleksiev, Nikolay Penchev, Rozalin Penchev Spikers -> Tsvetan Sokolov, Velizar Chernokozhev Middle Blockers -> Viktor Yosifov, Nikolay Nikolov, Teodor Todorov, Svetoslav Gotsev Liberos -> Teodor Salparov, Vladislav Ivanov
  8. I thought the Tour was already over? No one informed me that we are going to follow the Sky for another 3 weeks...Tempo, tempo, tempo Great win for Nibs, though he would struggle again in the mountains.
  9. 18 is perfectly fine by me. I don't like the idea that they wan't to increase to 10 categories per style for the Worlds/Continental. It's getting absurd how they are stretching every damn sport. I swear, if they could, they would make 50 different competitions, with no regard to substance...
  10. What awful job by UWW yet again. Where are the draws? Are the Worlds starting tomorrow, or on tuesday? Very limited information as always... As for our team here, we are once again having many injured wrestlers that won't compete. Olympic medalist Elitsa Yankova, World Champion and multiple other medalist Ivo Angelov, European silver medalist from may Borislav Novachkov won't compete. We also won't have any participants in the 2 heaviest freestyle categories, because of injuries.. I hope for 2-3 medals, but i mainly want a final.
  11. Before the start of the World Championships, the Bureau of UWW will vote on a few changes. The first one is will the Par Terre remain in Greco-Roman. UWW Vice-President Tseno Tsenov acknowledged that for now the perception is that the Par Terre will remain, but the wrestlers will no longer get a point if there is no right technique done. Plus if the match finishes 0:0, both wrestlers would be disqualified, which Tsenov says will push wrestlers to be more active and aggressive in the matches. Also, there is going to be a vote on, whether the competitions will switch to a two-day format for a categorie, instead of the one-day, we are having now. This format was tested in the Junior European Championships last month and the results were very good added Tsenov.

  13. Too much drama
  14. Great race in the mens 800 m.
  15. Yeah, i was talking only about today. Of course for the working days it was very good to start in the evening.
  16. It's late here. No, seriously i see no reason why they didn't start an hour or two earlier. The race walks ended a long time ago.
  17. Why is the last session scheduled late again... It's the last one, it's on a sunday, there is not a reason why it shouldn't have started earlier like in prior years..
  18. Britain saved the championships today.
  19. 15th medal for Felix
  20. Is Mcpherson in a cult or something Scary stuff.
  21. A white guy won a sprint First time since 2001 if i'm not mistaken.
  22. Felix should have switched back to the 200, given that the competition now isn't as big. She just can't time the 400 accuratly..
  23. Jamaica being better in the throws, than in the sprints.
  24. Should have said wanted, as it was brought up a few years back, but faded. I won't be surprised if the topic emerges again, since both 200 metres here are disappointing. http://running.competitor.com/2014/12/news/report-ioc-considers-dropping-10000-meters-from-olympics_119760 http://www.smh.com.au/sport/athletics/bolt-from-the-blue-200-metres-10000-metres-and-shot-put-under-threat-at-olympics-20141210-1240lr.html
  25. No Bowie 200 going to be a farce. No wonder they want to kick it out of the Olympics. But it's a good thing for Ivet for making another final.
