Αντίδραση Πουέρτο Ρίκο, απάντηση Ελλάδας Το τρίτο σετ ήταν το πιο αμφίρροπο. Οι Πορτορικανές βρήκαν ρυθμό, πέρασαν μπροστά (16-13), όμως η είσοδος της Λαμπρούση στο σερβίς και η βελτίωση στο μπλοκ έφεραν την Ελλάδα ξανά στο ματς. Παρά την αντεπίθεση, το Πουέρτο Ρίκο άντεξε και με 25-23 μείωσε σε 2-1. Στο τέταρτο σετ, όμως, η “γαλανόλευκη” ανέβασε ταχύτητα. Με πίεση στο σερβίς, άψογη άμυνα και την Μπακοδήμου να ξεχωρίζει, η Ελλάδα ξέφυγε στο 18-11 και “καθάρισε” τη νίκη με 25-14, φτάνοντας στο τελικό 3-1. Η επόμενη μέρα Η Εθνική ομάδα έδειξε χαρακτήρα, ποιότητα και βάθος στο ρόστερ της, και πλέον βλέπει ξεκάθαρα πρόκριση.
