Much better than that Kazakh biathlete, who fell 5 meters before the finish line and placed 4th instead of taking Olympic gold.

Joao Miguel Torrao & Equador deserve a little mention. They opened the weekend with 77.348% (NR for Portugal). They followed it up with 79.042% in the Special (NR again) and 83.875% in the Freestyle (and again!). Massive scores. If he can replicate this on a bigger stage, Torrao has a strong chance for Top 10 finish in Tokyo. Maybe even a podium - given that he improved his scores by 5-6% this year.

I guess that 10th place got stuck with me because of the two misses. As a kid, I was like: "Wooooow. Lithuania could have won this with clean shooting." or something.
