    Which sprints events will get dropped? One has to assume it will be either K4 or C2. K1 200 m is another option, but that would only unlock 24 places. 44 are needed (32 for 'extreme' + 12 ICF will lose). EDIT: I am forgetting a strong possibility of double starters in slalom events. K1 200 m now appears to be the most likely option.

    It would make more sense to have 'extreme' sprint canoeing. But then again. We already have a sport for racing boats. It's called sailing.

    Very impressive for a discipline where any overtaking after the first five meters is virtually impossible.

    Talk about desperate times. In two weeks, Trnava will host Croatian race walking championships. 20,000 m and 50,000 m on track! That's 50/125 laps! Rankings qualification will restart on Dec 1st. We have a decent chance for our first ever Olympic race walker. @hckosice

    More nonsense from FEI. Starting from next season, the Short Grand Prix will be used for Dressage World Cup. With an aim "to maintain a pacey and interesting competition" and achieve more "air time on television". Surely the TV networks are already putting up their bids! Basically, it's just another move supported by the British equestrian mafia. They are the only ones who created and 'tested' this format, and voila, suddenly it's official for everyone.
